Uncurated Augmented Reality es una aplicación para dispositivos portátiles que permite visualizar en realidad aumentada una selección de ocho obras de artistas dedicados a la diseminación de la cultura digital y postdigital.Esta aplicación es parte de Uncurated, pabellón virtual que reúne el trabajo de 38 artistas digitales con un enfoque disruptivo; plantea una experiencia híbrida entre la virtualidad y el mundo físico, donde lo virtual pertenece al dominio de la realidad. El pabellón conjuga realidad virtual, realidad aumentada y virtualidad aumentada.
Uncurated centra sus esfuerzos en el desarrollo de entornos prospectivos. La curaduría, basada en tags temáticos y cronológicos, tiene un acercamiento distinto: una vinculación de aspectos más sutiles, como es la “minería de datos”, concepto que se refiere a la detección de nuevos criterios en la producción masiva de información.
El proyecto se presenta en el Museo Universitario del Chopo del 29 de octubre de 2015 al 31 de enero de 2016. Es la embajada virtual y física en la ciudad de México de The Wrong New Digital Art Biennale en su segunda edición, uno de los acontecimientos de arte virtual digital / postdigital más grandes a nivel internacional, que se lleva a cabo en 32 ciudades alrededor del mundo y en internet.
