Interlatina Online fue creada el día 27 de junio del 2009 por un grupo de jóvenes inquietos por incursionar en el mundo de la radio aplicando las nuevas tecnologías de la información, en un principio el proyecto tuvo el nombre de megapensil.com y la idea era empezar a transmitir desde el corregimiento de San Daniel del municipio de Pensilvania, aprovechando la infraestructura del la emisora parroquial del corregimiento, pero luego de hacer algunos estudios técnicos se determino que para cumplir el objetivo que era transmitir via internet para todo el mundo, las condiciones de San Daniel no eran las adecuadas, por lo tanto se desistió de esta idea.Después de hacer algunas consultas por medio de Facebook y con el apoyo de Avance Call Center LTDA y Javier Hernández Locutor de Voces FM se llego a un consenso para el nuevo nombre de la primera emisora del oriente de Caldas totalmente producida por internet (www.interlatinaonlinestereo.com).
En la actualidad y a casi un año de su creación Interlatina Online se ha convertido en una de las mejores alternativas radiales en la internet, con programas como Mundo Música, Mujeres U y una variada programación han cautivado cientos de oyentes por todo el mundo.
