Description
As part of its revitalization of forest training centres in Southern Africa, the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) commissioned this App (there are three others in the series) to provide a mobile 3D teaching platform in order to show chainsaw operators the disastrous results of some bad habits or mistakes. This knowledge is presented in a way that is visual and engaging. This is learning in a “fun” way.The user is presented with three disaster scenarios, i.e. chainsaw kickbacks, using the wrong fuel and chain breakage resulting from poor maintenance.
