Description
l liceo "A. Pacinotti" di Cagliari nasce nel 1923. Intitolato in origine al Gen. Carlo Sanna in attuazione della riforma Gentile, è stato per lungo tempo l’unico Liceo Scientifico della Sardegna. Nel 1968 si trasferisce dagli storici locali in via G. Deledda nei nuovi spazi di via Liguria, appositamente costruiti su progetto dell'architetto Rattu, occupando una parte dei terreni dell' ex ospedale psichiatrico di Villa Clara, a cui si è aggiunta una sede succursale in via Brianza.La sede centrale della scuola ospita due terzi della popolazione studentesca iscritta ed è caratterizzata dall’essere il crocevia di diversi quartieri cittadini.
È inoltre ubicata in prossimità del grande polmone verde del Monte Claro. La sede staccata, non troppo distante da quella centrale, utilizza un caseggiato scolastico nel passato occupato da altro Istituto Superiore, e pertanto adeguato negli spazi e nella progettazione alla fascia di età degli studenti di questo Liceo.
Gli studenti ruotano nel corso dell’anno scolastico sulle 2 sedi.
Il caseggiato di via Liguria è raggiungibile mediante le linee urbane C.T.M. 1, 3, 6, 13, 16, 29, mentre la sede di via Brianza è servita dalle linee 1, 3, 5, 8, 9, 16 e 20.
