AGROCLIMA es un aplicativo móvil desarrollado por el Ministerio de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural liderado por Agronet, en conjunto con el Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones desde el Programa Gobierno en Línea, el cual permite:Conocer el Clima Previsto, Alertas Diarias y la Incidencia de estos fenómenos en la Agricultura Colombiana en las diferentes regiones del país, así como los datos de las variables climáticas de Precipitación, Temperatura, Brillo Solar y Humedad Relativa.
Adicionalmente, AGROCLIMA ofrece el valor aproximado del Riego Neto Requerido de un grupo de cultivos representativos del país, a partir de su estado fenológico, la ubicación geográfica y el mes en el que se desea aplicar el riego, lo que permite orientar al productor acerca de la cantidad de agua que necesita su cultivo y así identificar el mejor momento para la siembra, al comparar las condiciones climáticas actuales, con las del año anterior y el histórico de los últimos XX años, además de identificar las alertas que puedan afectar la producción.
