Este app é um Recurso Educacional que tem como objetivo transformar os dados contábeis e as informações da administração pública contidos no SIOPS em uma linguagem simples e acessível para qualquer cidadão.As informações sobre os orçamentos públicos dos municípios, estado e União são de acesso público e gratuito a qualquer cidadão brasileiro. No entanto, as informações são apresentadas em uma linguagem contábil e específica do campo da saúde e o cidadão desprovido de conhecimentos sobre contabilidade e administração pública, ou mesmo com um baixo grau de escolaridade, não consegue compreender com clareza o conteúdo dos relatórios disponibilizados pelo sistema. Assim, faz-se necessário a tradução tanto para o cidadão usuário do SUS, quanto para os conselheiros de saúde com os mais diferentes níveis de instrução.
A perspectiva é que, com as informações corretas, o cidadão possa acompanhar mais de perto os investimentos em saúde realizados em seu município e possa também avaliar os investimentos dos governos federal e estadual no seu município.
