Description

The Finding Thabo Teachers App provides ECD teachers with an easy-to-use mobile solution to assess children as they go through the Finding Thabo programme.

Did you know that 90% of brain development happens before the age of 5? Sadly, the majority of South African children do not receive quality stimulation before they reach school.

What is Finding Thabo? Developed by The Reach Trust, Finding Thabo is an interactive play-based game that early learning teachers, parents and caregivers can play with their young children to stimulate key parts of their growing brains.

The Finding Thabo programme guides early learning teachers through weeks of fun activities that centre around everyday scenes that young children may see or experience in South Africa. These activities are designed to cover key themes in early learning that will help children thrive before the age of 5!

While completing the programme, the Finding Thabo Teachers app encourages teachers to assess children on the themes covered each fortnight. App assessments provide teachers with a way to score each child’s progress, along with a space for them to add comments on their observations. These are useful when reporting milestones to parents and caregivers regularly.

The app allows teachers to create a unique profile that saves their learners' information and their assessments on their mobile devices.

Watch this space! Planned future versions of the app will include attendance tracking and child reporting.

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.
