"SMART is a one-stop platform to support mothers through their pregnancy and post childbirth journey. It provides a wide range of educational materials ranging from emotional care, self-care and infant care targetted especially for mothers who are single, had past trauma, having low income or are at risk for postnatal depression.Emotional care supports mothers with information on common emotional challenges during motherhood such as postnatal depression. A variety of information is shared on how to maintain good mental well-being.
The self-care section provides mothers with information on how to care for herself as she cares for the baby. This includes vital information such as breastfeeding tips and preparation for childbirth.
The Baby Care section looks at practical ways to care for a baby such as changing diapers and putting the baby to sleep.
Information shared come in a variety of formats such as videos, podcasts and articles and all content are refreshed every week so mothers will always receive fresh new information.
There is also an Activity Hub that allows the mother to do weekly quizzes and activities.
The Forum feature allows mothers to share posts with other mothers based on a weekly theme while the Chat feature allows a mother to connect with a peer volunteer for peer support if she needs someone to talk to.
The Gratitude Journal feature allows the mother to pen down her thoughts on a daily basis on things that she is grateful for.
Mothers are able to download all resources to watch or listen offline and can bookmark their favourite content!
The SMART app follows the mother through 6 months post childbirth so that she is supported all the way."
