La Primera División de Uruguay, conocida como Campeonato Uruguayo Copa Coca-Cola, es la máxima categoría del sistema de ligas de fútbol de Uruguay, y es organizada por la Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol.
El primer Campeonato Uruguayo de Fútbol se disputó en el año 1900, habiéndose realizado 112° ediciones. Siendo una de las ligas de fútbol más antiguas del mundo. El más significativo fue el paso de un formato de todos contra todos en dos ruedas, hacia una división de la temporada en dos torneos cortos (Torneo Apertura y Torneo Clausura), los cuales junto con la tabla acumulada (Tabla Anual) dan el acceso hacia la definición del Campeonato Uruguayo, desde la temporada 1994.
