2 ★The game is pretty and is fairly fun. I don't find the ads too awful here (especially compared to other free games). My biggest problem is that the larger puzzles (anything 20x20 or higher) are practical impossible since there's no zoom feature. The eye strain just trying to see everything is ridiculous. At this point, I'd only recommend if you have a tablet or are only planning to do the smaller puzzles.
2 ★love this game. saved up enough google play credits to pay for no ads only to find out i still need to watch ads to get hints. maybe 99c would be appropriate but $6?! if i'm paying that much wouldn't you think it be appropriate to give the hints that i want?! i usually try to solve without hints but sometimes a small error turns into something too big to figure out without wiping the whole puzzle. give me my $6 back and put the ads back in!
3 ★I loved this game for a while, but lately it's been crashing, sometimes several times in a few minutes. I hope they can get it working again because it's one of my favorite picross apps.
3 ★I enjoy the game, but have 2 problems: 1. Don't bother paying to get rid of ads in the hope to get free hints. You still have to watch ads to get hints. 2. There is a 1 on my hint button, but I can't press it, because it is blanked out. If you at least tell me how to fix the second problem, I might give you 4 stars.
1 ★I love these puzzles, however, this hardly ever has recognizable pictures. And recently they started putting up puzzles with odd number grids. I've never done any from any company that doesn't use grids with denominators by 5 like reg graff paper. If they had a grid that was less than a 20, 25, 30 number, they would just block off the extra lines. It's very disorienting to start with a grid that's 28 blocks by 28. You need the extra 2 lines to be able to count constantly on a small screen.
2 ★The game is a lot of fun and the controls are easy to use. It got 2 starts because if frequently crashes on my pixel 4 xl.
4 ★Lots of Chinese religious iconography and nationalist images in the Picross puzzles. If you don't mind propoganda, this is probably one of the best Picross apps on the market. However, if you're like me, then you'll uninstall Picross Galaxy 2...and keep playing the first one. No significant changes to the control or interface since the prior game--which is great, because Picross Galaxy has great (perfect?) controls.
4 ★It would be great if the game was saved for multiple devices. I like games that I can play on both tablet and phone and pick up where I left off . Those types of games are now the only ones I like to play as I have changed tablets and phones and have had to start games all over again.
5 ★One of the best picross games I've played yet. Great freedom in settings and very smooth. The choice of ambient rain sounds is a really nice touch. Only complaint is a lack of giant pictures made up of smaller puzzles and my mom complained that no picross game allows zooming in. I love thia app so much!
3 ★1. Game lacks 'autosolve trivial' function. Really, what is the point forcing player filling all those rows which have only 1 solution. Controls are not that easy. 2. BUG: Undo sometimes forgets to clear some cells, both types! So it is badically useless, more reliable to memirize and clear manually. 3. Additionals markings, for 'guessing" mode are must. Make them dots, X, /,\, more better. Colours also welcome. 4. Puzzles >20 in dimention are unplayable, too small on avarage phone screen(5inch)
3 ★Would be a nice game to continually play, but uses far more resources than it should. Uses almost 10% battery doing a 20x20 and continues using battery after exit. Galaxy s7. Burned 80% of battery in 30 minutes yesterday. Went into battery monitor and it used an insane 38% and caused android system to use 49% in last hour. Uninstalled and android system an hour later was back down to under 2% with multiple other apps open. Will try again when evidence of this has been corrected.
5 ★i love it, but i wish there were more 15x15 or 20x20 puzzles since its hard to see or play on a phone with the larger boards. Also ive run into a couple boards that come down to guessing or figuring out what the picture is going to be solve the puzzle rather than using logic like the discription says.
