"Kisan Mitra" is an android based mobile app which was developed by Navsari Agricultural University and launched in 2014. In 2022 Navsari Agricultural University is launching its Version 2.0 with improvements like more graphical content, audiovisual information, and a quick update facility. The app is intended to fulfill the needs of the farmer's community in the area of Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, and emerging agricultural initiatives. The information covered in the mobile app is the research outcome of the scientific community which was shaped in the form of a package of practices, that too written 100% in the native language (Gujarati) so that farmers may take maximum benefits.
