Mobilioji aplikacija „Lake researcher“ sukurta ir skirta įvairaus amžiaus moksleiviams bei suaugusiems. Naudodamiesi aplikacija, vos kelių ekrano paspaudimų pagalba susipažinsite su ežerų augalija bei gyvūnija, ištirsite ežerus supančią aplinką bei sužinosite, kaip stipriai ežeras paveiktas eutrofikacijos proceso.Dauguma vandens telkinių, įskaitant tiek ežerus, tiek ir mūsų Baltijos jūrą, šiuo metu kenčia nuo eutrofikacijos. Eutrofikacija – tai toks reiškinys, kai dėl per didelio maistinių medžiagų kiekio vandenyje pernelyg išveši dumbliai ir kita augmenija, sutrinka organizmų pusiausvyra.
Labiausiai prie ežerų eutrofikacijos esame prisidėję mes – žmonės, nes pagrindinės maistinės medžiagos, skatinančios eutrofikaciją yra fosforas ir azotas, kurie yra plačiai naudojami mūsų kasdienėse veiklose bei ūkyje.
Naudodami šią mobiliąją aplikaciją, ne tik tirsite ežero būklę, bet ir mokysitės stebėti, analizuoti, vertinti aplinką ir joje vykstančius procesus.
Mobili aplikacija parengta įgyvendinant projektą „Kuržemės ir Šiaurės Lietuvos ežerų valdymo bei priežiūros tobulinimas“ (Projekto nr. LLI449) (akronimas: LIVE LAKE). Projektą finansuoja 2014-2020 m. Interreg V-A Latvijos ir Lietuvos programa. Visas projekto biudžetas – 981 750 Eur, iš jų – bendrasis Europos regioninės plėtros fondo finansavimas – 834 490 Eur. Už šios mobiliosios aplikacijos turinį atsako Žemaitijos nacionalinio parko direkcija. Jokiomis aplinkybėmis negali būti laikoma, kad mobili aplikacija atspindi Europos Sąjungos nuomonę.
