Description
목요특강은 지난 1994년 9월 1일부터 매주 목요일 2시간 동안 진행하고 있는 교양 수업으로 올해로 17년째 진행 중이다. 강단에 서는 연사들은 학생들의 설문 조사를 통해 만나고 싶은 각 분야 명사들을 초청하여, 그들이 살아온 진솔한 이야기를 듣고 학생들이 이에 질문하는 형식으로 진행된다.지난 1994년 9월부터 이번 달까지 목요특강에 나섰던 명사들은 모두 370여명으로 방송종사자, 언론관계자, 교수, 주요 국가 주한 대사 뿐만 아니라 뮤지컬 배우나 문화 예술계 인사 등 사회 각 분야의 명사들이학생들과 마주했다.
강의 주제는 명사들의 삶의 이야기를 비롯, 직업과 관련된 전문분야의 이야기, 미래를 준비하는 젊은 대학생들을 위한 메시지 등 다양하다.
강의가 끝나면 매 2년 마다 이들의 강연을 묶어 책으로 내고 있다. 이번 출간한 10번째 책 는 지난 2009년과 2010년 강단에 섰던 38명의 명사들의 강연을 묶어냈다. 한국대학신문 이인원 회장을 비롯해 뮤지컬배우 남경주, 문훈숙 유니버설문화재단 이사장, 소설가 김별아, 김상헌 NHN 대표, 연기자 추상미 등이 들려줬던 성공 비결과 젊은이들을 향한 이들의 메시지를 모았다.
