저자 신부용박사는 서울공대 토목과를 졸업하고 캐나다 토론토 대학에서 교통공학으로 박사학위를 받은 후 귀국하여 교통연구원 원장을 역임하고 서울대와 KAIST에서 교통공학을 강의했습니다.캐나다 유학시절 우리 교포들이 영어 발음 때문에 불이익을 받는 것을 보고 한글의 발음표기기능을 발전시켜야 한다는 생각을 해 오다가 KAIST 근무시 한글공학연구소를 설립하여 ‘한글기반의 만국어 발음표기 시스템’을 연구하여 HUPS 라는 컴퓨터 앱을 발표했습니다.
그 후 이 연구결과를 응용하기 위해 세계 시각장애인을 위한 문자입력 시스템과 중국어 한글표기법 연구를 지속하여 이 책을 내게 되었습니다.
특히 중국어 학습방법을 위해 한글로 찾아볼 수 있는 한자자전인 CEK입체자전을 발명하여 무료앱으로 공개했습니다. 또한 외국인도 한글을 배워‘한글전용 중국어 배우기’에 동참할 수 있도록 ‘You can learn Hangul in 45 minutes' 를 앱북으로 발간했습니다.
그리고 이번에 한글전용 중국어배우기 앱을 출시하게 되었습니다. 한글로 중국어를 배울 수 있게 하는 아주 유용한 학습앱(어플)입니다.
