Scenario Games - inspiriert von Online Escape Rooms - umfassen breite Themen wie z. B. den Klimawandel, die Gesellschaft und allgemeine Nachhaltigkeit, welche mit mathematisch und naturwissenschaftlichen (MINT) Aufgaben verknüpft werden. Ziel ist das spielerisch kreative Denken anzuregen, fachliches Wissen zu festigen und die Digitalisierung in der schulischen Lehre zu steigern. Damit möchten wir auch neue Begeisterung für MINT-Fächer entfachen.Durch mathematische Rätsel und Fragen geben wir Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, bereits erlerntes Wissen in den Fächern Mathematik, Informatik und den Naturwissenschaften zu nutzen, um dieses in einem neuen Kontext anzuwenden.
Dabei kann die Dauer eines Scenario Games kurz (ca. 5 Minuten lang, wie eine Aufgabe aus einem Schulbuch) bis sehr lange (mehrere Tage) sein. Bei der Szenario-Erstellung soll also absichtlich viel Freiraum gelassen werden, um möglichst individuelle und auf den Unterricht angepasste Inhalte zu kreiren.
