El Itinerario de Educación en la Fe (IEF) es un “proceso educativo global, según la lógica de la Iniciación Cristiana, que, teniendo en cuenta la realidad del ser humano en su integridad, guía y acompaña al adolescente y al joven en el camino hacia la maduración cristiana en el mundo de hoy”.Este itinerario, que sigue las líneas maestras del itinerario común para todas las casas salesianas de España. Nuestro itinerario quiere ser por tanto una ruta o camino que proponemos a los niños y adolescentes que ya han recibido la primera comunión puedan construir su propia persona poniendo el centro en la realidad humana, social y espiritual de cada uno de ellos.
Los objetivos fundamentales que nos proponemos en este itinerario giran en torno al ser, al conocer, al convivir y al hacer. Queremos que los grupos de fe contribuyan a la maduración personal e integral de los participantes, que puedan desarrollar su propia identidad y crecer en vida interior y en vivencia cristiana. Por este motivo queremos que los grupos contribuyan a que cada participante que hace recorrer el itinerario vaya siendo capaz de dar razón de la propia Fe, que vaya aprendiendo a vivir en sociedad, a relacionarse responsablemente con los demás y a sentirse parte de una comunidad cristiana de referencia. Que desarrollen la capacidad de servicio a los demás partiendo de las propias capacidades personales. Que sean capaces de cultivar la fortaleza interior, aprendiendo a vivir siendo auténticos oyentes de la Palabra de Dios.
