Description
Açık ve Uzaktan Eğitim Fakültesi (AUZEF), İstanbul Üniversitesi bünyesinde açık öğretim ve uzaktan eğitim programlarının faaliyetlerini yürüten fakültedir. 2009 yılı itibarıyla uzaktan eğitim; 2011 yılından itibaren ise açık öğretim programları kapsamında öğrenci kabul eden AUZEF, bugün gelinen noktada Türkiye’nin en önde gelen dijital fakültesi olma yönünde sürekli ilerlemektedir.2022 yılı itibarıyla AUZEF’in bünyesinde 34’ü açık öğretim ve 12’si uzaktan eğitim olmak üzere toplamda 46 aktif program yer almaktadır. Bunların 19’u lisans, 22’si ön lisans ve 5 tanesi de lisans tamamlama programlarıdır.
AUZEF, dijital öğrenme-öğretme metotlarını kullanarak tüm öğrencilerine zaman ve mekandan bağımsız bir şekilde İstanbul Üniversitesi standartlarında eğitim alma fırsatı sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda geleneksel eğitim modellerinden farklı olarak öğrencinin kampüse gelme zorunluluğunun olmadığı; derslerin internet ve bilgisayar/mobil cihazlar vasıtasıyla tamamen sanal ortamda işlendiği, katılımcının istediği zaman bunları tekrar tekrar izleyebileceği bir platform sunmaktadır.
