This application downloads METAR reports from the US National Weather Service (NWS), which is part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Just enter the ICAO airport code and press the send button to download the report. To play/stop the synthetic audio report, click on the text.A METAR is an aviation weather report issued at periodic intervals. It contains information regarding wind, visibility, runway visual range (optional), weather, cloud cover, temperature, dew point and surface pressure.
