Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

5 ★This is an excellent way to protect yourself and others against over-policing/police brutality, and give specific information to the ACLU to determine if racial profiling is happening in the area. This app allows your camera on your phone to record the entire interactions with the police at the touch of the app, and the video is uploaded to the ACLU's cloud when filming is complete. Once the app is started, stopping it uploads the video to the ACLU, so if a police officer takes your phone and turns it off, it will be clear that s/he is taking it, and the video is safe. It also lets you know about police activity nearby (if anyone else is using this app and turns it on), and lets you know about your rights. You can opt for complete anonymity, or give the ACLU info like your name, number and email address they need to follow up with you about your police encounter. Everyone should be using this app.
3 ★It's nice to have it on my phone so that I have it when I need it, but I often have to use my battery saver app to disable it due to resource consumption. The resource consumption of this app should reflect it's emergency nature.
3 ★Works well would be nice if I could swap to my front camera instead. This would make it easier to record an incident when pulled over
4 ★We need WI
1 ★It won't let me deactivate it off my phone!!
2 ★Nexus 5x
5 ★Hopefully I won't have to use it but if just in case, it will be helpful
5 ★It's about time cops in NJ have been violating people and charging them with things that haven't done and their word always stands up even if they killed you
1 ★Dumb idea
4 ★i love this idea.. i will use it but have not yet and will speak more of i do.
4 ★Hopefully I will not need it.
5 ★Super helpful and easy to use
