Description
Surat ad-Duha (Arabic: الضحى, “The Morning Hours”, “Morning Bright”) is the ninety-third sura of the Qur'an with 11 ayat. This surah is positioned in Para 30 which is also known as Juz Amma (Juz' 30). The Surah takes its name Az-Zuha from the very first word.Although there is some debate amongst scholars, this sura is often considered to be the second revealed to Muhammad (s). After the first sura (al-Alaq) was received, there was a period of silence in which no further messages were revealed. During this time, the new Prophet (s) wondered if he had somehow displeased Almighty Allah, who it seemed for a while was no longer sending down His message. This sura broke that silence, and reassured Muhammad (s) that all will be understood in time. The image of the morning (ad-Dhuha) is the first word of the sorat, and can be understood as symbolizing Muhammad's (s) "new day" as the Messenger of God, as well as the "dawn" of the new way of life that would become Islam. After this sorah, the visitations of Gabriel with the words of the Quran would come to Muhammad regularly until his death.
Because of subject matter, length, style, and placement in the Al-Quran, this sura is often coupled with Sura Al-Inshirah. They are generally considered to have been revealed around the same time.
Layout of this surah:
The Sura Begins with Oaths. It then asks to reflect and prepares the reader for the ultimate lesson that is about to come. And then The Ultimate lesson in this surah is; Allah gives favours to His Messenger i.e. Duha, Al-Inshirah, and Al-Kawthar. To conclude – Allah will tell what the Messenger of Allah should do to show gratefulness for all the favours and how his followers can follow his example of gratefulness.
For the virtue of this Surah it is enough to say that there is a tradition narrated from the holy Prophet (S) which says:
"He who recites this Surah will be among those Allah is pleased with; and it is possible that Muhammad (S) intercedes for him, and he will be rewarded ten 'good deeds' for each orphan or needy (or petitioner)”.
All of these virtues are for the believer who recites the Surah and acts upon it.
It is noteworthy that according to many narrations this Surah and the next one, Inshirah are together one Surah; and since in prayers (salah a.k.a namaz) we should recite a complete Surah after Surah Al-Hamd; then, in reciting this Surah the next one should be added, too.

And if we think carefully of the contents of these two Suras, we can see the close relation of their subjects and find that they are certainly together, even though the invocation
1. Whoso recites this surah, it would intercede for him on the day of judgement; and virtues ten times the number of beggars and orphans who have lived in days gone by would be written in his record of deeds.
2. If this surah is written over the name of a person who has disappeared, inshallah, he would come back safe and sound.
3. If a person keeps something at some place and forgets to bring it with him, and recites this surah that thing would remain in Allah’s protection till he goes there and takes it.
The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) said: Whoever recites Surah Zuha, Allah would allow the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.s.) to intercede for him on the Day of Judgment and rewards ten times the total number of beggars and orphans would be recorded in his scroll of deeds.
