Mit dieser App können in moderner türkischer Schrift verfasste Wörter und Texte in die alttürkische Runenschrift (Orchon-Runen) transkribiert werden.Mit dem Button "START" erhält man zunächst eine Buchstabe-für-Buchstabe-Transkription. Mit Betätigung des Buttons "FINALISIEREN" werden Runen-Kombinationen, für die spezielle Runen existieren, durch eben diese Runen ersetzt.
Es sollte beachtet werden, dass die Orchon-Schrift keinen Unterschied macht zwischen z. B. "ö" und "ü" sowie "g" und "ğ". Außerdem existieren keine Orchon-Runen für "f" und "v". Für diese Buchstaben werden in der App ersatzweise die entsprechenden germanischen Runen verwendet. Wer dies umgehen möchte, sollte im Ausgangstext "f" durch "p" und "v" durch "w" ersetzen. Für das türkische "j" wie in "jeton" wird die jenisseische Variante der "ç"-Rune verwendet.
Es wird davon abgeraten, die App dazu zu verwenden, Vorlagen für Tätowierungen oder zu ähnlichen Zwecken zu erstellen. Bitte beratschlagen Sie sich vorher unbedingt mit jemandem, der die Orchon-Schrift zuverlässig beherrscht!
