3 ★The game is fun, for 5 levels or so. Then it starts to get repetitive. But there's just enough of an addictive element to keep you playing. Then, around level 18 or 20, the game starts to cheat. The computer run player(s) are suddenly generating way faster than you, no matter what strategy you use. Oh, and ads upon ads, upon ads! 3-stars at best.
4 ★Overall: great game, needs more level layouts, needs new features or a level randomizer I've been playing about a week or so, at level 174. The is a really nice time waster. Levels vary in difficulty as you go higher (for example level 100 might be easier than level 99) but its not that bad. Levels are getting a bit repetitive as I've seen many layouts repeatedly but, again, its not that bad. The shield/fighter planets provided an interesting twist at first but they're getting a bit stale.
1 ★Ad simulator. Game is rigged to make you lose if you're not paying or watching ads. And I don't mean the level is too hard. I mean the level somehow gets impossible while you're playing already. I got really far into the game but it got old watching ads 90% of the time and only able to play for 10% of the time that I had the app open. It's a dam shame too because this was a really good game until the game play was ruined by ads that you have to close 3 or 4 times to get back to the game.
1 ★It was fun for about the first 100 levels, but then the levels started getting so difficult the only way to clear them was to use a ton of power ups. The only way to use enough power ups? Why, watch ads, of course. It got so bad I was watching 10 or more ads just to clear one level. Not fun anymore. If they were just harder puzzles that were solvable, that would be ok but they're not. The only way to win is to watch a dozen ads. Waste of time.
3 ★I like the game, but the only annoying thing is hot the ads fail way too often. I get the "The ad is now ready" a lot. And usually have to close the game and reopen it, but usually means you lost the reward. Then other times the ads just fail altogether, which means you have to close and reopen the game. So annoying. I'd give the game 5 stars if the ads were not such a problem
2 ★I really like the game play, it's too bad I can't enjoy it. There are never any video's available for benefits. I can't get any free stuff. I can't use extra powers during games. Essentially, it sucks!!! And when a video does load, it blacks out, and I have to reload the whole game. I've played several of these style games. I think this one could be the best if it worked. But it's the worst cause it won't play!!!! Please fix it!!!!
3 ★The primary purpose of this game is to make you watch ads. To make progress, plan on watching two 30-second ads for each level. The IAP to remove ads reduces this to one ad per level. The gameplay itself is fun and engaging. Too addicting, which is why I uninstalled it. There's a variety of strategies: sometimes you need to be super aggressive, sometimes you do nothing for the first minute. In my experience all levels except boss levels are possible without specials. Needs documentation!
5 ★Great game. Went a long way before it got too tough for me. At level 173, I was on my fourth or fifth event where I had to use many, many boosts to get through it, enough I had to watch ads because I ran through what I had saved up to pay for it. I'm already willing to watch ads for the extra currency. If I'm spending more time watching ads than playing just to get through each level, it's not fun anymore. It also suggests the developers are getting greedy. Maintain a balance, please.
2 ★Was fun until lol 275. I'm not gonna be forced to watch extra ads just to beat a level when there are already so many forced ads. The game progressively gets more difficult (which is fun) but then you will likely eventually run out of fuel for abilities and with no way to earn them without beating at least 3 levels (which you can't replay) you are forced into a loop of watching ads. 2 stars only because you have some enjoyment before the forced BS. If this happened early game I would got 1.
3 ★Been playing a while now... I love it, but I feel like being able to cover the premium currency to non premium but not the other way around is kinda cheap. Once you max out the 1 (of 2) commanders, its just playing the same levels over and over. Make either more commanders, or at least make the second one that's in the app attainable without the ability currency. Which it feels like every time you get a decent amount of the game throws a level at you that basically forces you to use it.
2 ★Fun to a point. Eventually the game forces you in impossible situations (level 275) that are designed to burn up your power ups. Difficulty is fun, but impossible us just stupid. This is in addition to an ad after every level. You can skip about 98% of them, but if we are required to watch ads, then don't waste my time with literally impossible scenarios that I have to cheat to get out of. Screw that and screw this game.
2 ★Was loving this game. Great for long car rides or for a quick 5 minute time shaver. Just reached over lv 1000 after a few months and now all of a sudden 70% of the time when I win a level it forces an ad, but the ad is just a black screen and I'm forced to do the same level again, sometimes multiple times. I used to do the 5x rewards after each level but because of this IF I get to the rewards screen I just hit next.
