Description
YouChoose is een bewustwordingscampagne voor jongeren in de Gemeente Haarlemmermeer, om ze te helpen middels betere keuzes steekwapengeweld uit te bannen. in deze interactieve Virtual Reality film, kruipen scholieren in de huid van daders en slachtoffers. Hoe het verhaal afloopt hangt afvan de keuzes die je onderweg maakt.
Door de combinatie van een VR-beleving, plus verdere gesprekken en coaching leren jongeren risico's en keuzes in hun eigen leven beter inschatten. Ons ideaal is dat ze hun beste kanten ontwikkelen, in plaats van zichzelf of anderen in gevaar te brengen. De film is met speciale VR-technieken opgenomen met een cast van amateur acteurs uit de doelgroep met medewerking van politie en ambulancediensten. De muziek is met dank aan Frenna en lokaal talent Taze M.
Voor toegang is een (gratis) wachtwoord nodig, bedoeld voor scholen en andere vormen van coaching. Docenten en andere begeleiders kunnen dit gratis aanvragen via youchoose@haarlemmermeer.nl
Om de VR optimaal te beleven is een ‘Google Cardboard’ nodig en een smartphone. Als je de app in de klas behandelt, kan je deze via ook YouChoose verkrijgen.
Waarschuwing: in deze app komt geweld voor. Geschikt voor jongeren vanaf 12 jaar, en bedoeld om samen op school onder begeleiding te gebruiken.
