Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

3 ★The toolbar could be better displayed and I'd prefer to have it just above the keyboard. The feature that guesses the symbol you write isn't really performing well and it would be useful to have previews of the result instead of the code. Despite these limit I really like the idea, when local compiling will be introduced I'll use it a lot!
1 ★Highlights text as a vim editor would, but no output. Useless. In addition no documentation, can't change directories to organize files.
5 ★Well, I'll come back after the local pdf generating function be implemented.
3 ★This seems to work OK, despite the beta status, but had too many limitations for my use. Scrolling through documents is too slow, with or without syntax highlighting. You can't use the editor to edit files in place: instead you have to import them into a project, creating a copy of the original. And the app doesn't seem to register itself as an option for opening .tex files from the file manager or other apps. As I don't need an editor that actually compiles LaTeX, I'm switching to a general purpose text editor with syntax highlighting support.
5 ★Thank you for you application! Nevertheless, there are some bugs and wishes: 1) If something wrong happens on build server, than application stucks (because latex expects enter press...). Examples: non existed image; "PDF mode expected, but DVI mode detected" when use latex command instead of pdflatex (specific for *ubuntu) 2) Is it any possibility to use ssh keys for authentication?
3 ★No line numbers; does not compile on remote server; crashes on some text input; syntax highlight not working all time... But there is a chance to get this running nicely ;)
5 ★Does what is promised.
