Rock FM is a media house based in Mbeya dealing with promoting young people aged 18 to 45 years old, educating the community, informing the society and bridging the gap from unknown to known information to people. Entertaining and helping business people and organisation to bring their products and services to the public. Promoting is our fundamental basic of the core of our operations, we believe information is power so as knowledge.The Station was established in 2010 with 10 professional personnel, that's includes marketing and promotion, administration, finance and Technical team. We started slowly by having approximately 10% listeners, but growing surely to approximately 68% of the Region. Mbeya rigion is approximately to have more than 3,000,000 population and only more than 500,000 people live in urban.
96.9 Rock FM currently coverage is the South Highland Zone and neibouring Regions, villages and its border . We have generator set and Huge UPS to take care of the power blackout, our office is located at New Forest on Tunduma road near JM Petrol Station.
