Description

This citizen science project has been developed as part of Ph.D. research looking at the changes to the patterns of knuckle creases throughout bending of the joints of the fingers and how this impacts the ability to differentiate between different individuals using only the knuckle creases.

You will be asked to act as a citizen scientist, providing data through a short questionnaire and capturing a total of 12 images of your own hands using your smartphone camera. You will need:
- Your smartphone.
- A standard size plain (one colour) mug.
- A plain window-sill or flat surface in good daylight.
