2 ★Audio casting from stash doesn't work at all that I can tell - have tried both Chromecast w/ Google TV and a Google Home Mini. It starts casting, TV shows Live Phish logo or speaker makes the connected sound, but play/pause button just stubs/spins when pressed, won't do anything more. Can disconnect/reconnect to no avail. Other apps e.g. YT Music cast fine from same phone. Bummer - casting is my primary use case. Works fine with headphones though!
2 ★obviously its a great app to stream the shows you e seen or love, but man is it a pain in the butt. i click a show and it stwrts playing. 40 minutes later in the middle of a sweet jam i pull up the app again to see what song im in and it freaks out and starts up again from the beginning of the show. hope youve got treys notes memorized down to the second of each song so you can at least get back to where you were.
4 ★Content is terrific, of course. Navigation is mostly well done, though I wish the videos were better organized. My only substantial complaint is casting to Chromecast / Google Home device, which only seems to work with some videos (like the Beacon Jams) but not others, like the April '22 New York concerts).
5 ★I would give 4.5 stars if I could. A lot of times when I close the app while I'm in the middle of listening to a show and open it later, the app doesn't pick up where I left off. So I have to browse or search for the show I wanted all over again and find the right spot. It would be nice if you guys could impliment some kind of automatic bookmarking system or something. Other than that, it's Phish. Can't go wrong.
5 ★Previously, featured shows meant you could listen for free. Now there's a free shows section but clicking on them to play automatically brings up the add and they don't play. That's not free. .... Turns out that the app just needed to be cleared and restarted. Thanks to live phish support for quick response.
1 ★Why update app the day of a major concert weekend when you have had literally weeks without new Phish live content? And surprise surprise it doesn't work like it's supposed to. app closes if screen goes off the screensaver. app closes if anything else is running. app closes if you turn off the screen. Every update brings new bugs. Pull ur heads out and stop updating app right before tours or weekend runs. Give yourselves a week of troubleshooting so that paying customers are not screwed!!!
1 ★Constantly crashes and/or freezes. Would never waste money on this until they fix the insane amount of bugs. You can't use another app while this is playing in the background apparently. Bad enough you don't let me have mp3s anymore, the app you force me to use instead should at least be functional.
4 ★I would have given the app 5 stars but my show got interrupted right in the middle of a tasty jam. I exited out of the app and when I went back in the list of featured shows had been updated. The show I was in the middle of listening to wasn't even available any more! I suggest updating the shows at a time that my be less interruptive. Like 5 AM, instead of 12:00 noon EST.
2 ★having issues with app on Samsung galaxy s9 phone. music stops playing every couple minutes, app crashes every time I pause and change tracks while playing a song. i have subscribed with my Google pay account instead of my livephish account so i am wondering if this is the problem because i rarely had probs when logged in with the LP account before.
3 ★Access to an unbelievable music catalog is worth the subscription price, but the app could be *so* much better. Some issues for me: - Add to Queue should be possible from the ... Menu for shows, playlists, etc,.not just solo songs - Android Auto loses its state every time I connect my phone. So frustrating!
2 ★Used to work for me, no longer does, lack of support. Every time I try to login I get the error "The livephish app is currently offline for maintenance. Please check back later." This happens continuously, to me it seems it's a problem with the app. Login to the website using a browser, no issues. Tried reaching out to their support team, provided all details, no response. While I'm not a livephish subscriber I have paid for several streams and would like to continue using the app.
5 ★the upgrade is awesome!!!! gapless playback is key! the fact we can see the time on tracks now is dope! i can rewind the part over and over that made me split open melt! i love the show notes and reviews. great upgrade! will not be cancelling my subscription anytime soon!
