2 ★The camera shows clear, but it still records every car. I want it to only record human and pets. Other apps let you choose what you want to record. This one records everything but allows you to choose which one you want to be notified about. It's wasting a lot of storage recording each dag-gum car that drives down my street. Hopefully they change it. Thinking about returning the camera and get one with a more evolved app.
1 ★The solar panel does not keep the power charging. I look at the app in the morning and it is offline and at 1%. I have to wait 3 to 4 hours before it allows it to turn on at 16%. It stays that way all day. Percent never goes up and we do that again the next day. The only way to turn the power off is climb up the ladder and hit the button. The app does not allow you to turn power off. I had it off for 2 days and only got to 44%. Will not allow to pair up with other camera systems.
4 ★Set up was so easy. But it's missing a big UX component. When someone is in a space it goes into crazy alert mode at every movement. You can go 3 levels deep in the settings to put it into "sleep" mode, And then take it out from the *homescreen*. I want to take it in and out of sleep 2-3 times per day NOT on a schedule. Why isn't this smack on the first level of camera controls? it's the most used feature. And it's buried in settings. I need this easy to toggle when I walk in the door and out.
1 ★Riddled with bugs and frustration. Motion recording is delayed often missing the first 5 seconds or more of detection. Push alerts sometimes work, most of the time not. It's not clear how or if you can disable the "intelligent" detection of people, cars, etc - which the app literally states can cause push alert delays because it needs to "analyze" the recording first. Live view works when it wants to. Camera is 25' from the router and still has trouble keeping a connection when it does. Trash!
2 ★HUGE negatives with this app. Can only record 20 second videos (10 15 or 20, nothing longer) 1 star. 1 minute interval between motion events (1, 2 and 5 min settings). I have had times where I miss things due to the interval. 1 star. Cloud storage price is about double some of the competitors and allows only half the storage data. 1 star. The app is easy to navigate tho. 4 stars. Would love to see more options for short interval and longer clips times. Please add these.
2 ★I have 7 of these cameras. The motion sensor is horrible. The time zone is correct but the time is off by a couple hours. The 11-14 update ruined it. Others having more problems too. No more Auto rotation. The font is larger and somethings are now covered and unreadable. Give us the option to use another prior version. Solar works great. All the cameras are out of direct sunlight 1/2 the time and all end up 100% charged by end of day. Ran one without charging for 2 days and only dropped 1%.
4 ★Great picture quality, security light is nice and bright(when it does come on), VERY loud audible security alarm, low price plans, the solar panel was worth it, very quick and easy installation and setup through the app. The only issue I've found is that the security light is hit or miss on turning on when movement is noticed, the security activation zones are very rigid, the camera picks up mailboxes as pets from time to time. I think if they had active tracking with movement detected 🤌👌
1 ★Completely unreliable. Constantly disconnects from wifi and you cannot view the live feed. It takes forever to load and even longer to watch a 10 second recorded clip. I wish I would have used the money on something more expensive but completely reliable because ultimately, that's what this is about. Absolute reliability and this app and camera are just not it.
5 ★Decent App. Good night vision. The current App does record full-time, but the notification clips will set at only 10 or 15 seconds, but not to 20 seconds, even though that option is available. The App will not lock-in that setting upon exit from that options screen. When I advised them of it, they sent me a link with an updated App as a potential solution. I have not downloaded the new App, though. I decided 15 seconds is a long-enough clip. You can go into the full recording very easily.
1 ★This app is similar to all the other streaming/recording camera apps, the problem is it just doesn't work most the time. Watching a live feed is impossible, either because it won't load or will stop streaming after a few seconds. The motion detection is alright, but you can select zones like in other apps. The two-way audio doesn't work. The pan and tilt feature works intermittently. If you're looking at a camera that requires this app, look elsewhere. Basic functionality is plain bad.
2 ★This app leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot change the recording interval to 20 seconds, it resets to 15 seconds every time I try. It also does not sort videos into events (like it's supposed to), so instead of having 5 events I'll have 105 separate video events. I really wish I could have it record a single video event until there isn't movement for 15 seconds instead of recording 5 minutes worth of 15 second videos. The amount of notifications is ridiculous.
1 ★EDIT: NOW the app doesn't even work. Can't sign in. Loading anything just freezes. The video quality and camera features are pretty good, but the lack of customization/scheduling for notifications is AWFUL. We currently have contractors working on our house, so every time they come in and out I get a notification. The options that do exist (30 minutes, 2 hours, 12 hours) are hardly useful. Please add notification customization/scheduling to your roadmap. Then you'll get 5 stars.
