Гра починається зі стартового слова, яке випадковим чином вибирає комп'ютер. Гравці по черзі вписують одну букву в будь-яку вільну клітину на ігровому полі так, щоб з використанням цієї літери скласти нове слово. Слово виділяється на поле безперервно, в будь-якому напрямку, але не по-діагоналі. Одна і та ж клітина не може бути використана двічі при складанні одного слова. Слово не може бути вписано повторно або збігатися зі стартовим словом. За кожну букву в складеному слові присуджується одне очко.
Гра закінчується тоді, коли або заповнені всі клітини, або неможливо скласти чергове слово згідно із зазначеними вище правилами. Виграє той гравець, який набере більшу кількість очок, крім випадку нічиї після триразового пропуску ходу обом гравцям.
