Description
The Weather Monitor app is an alternative app for the Oregon Scientific Weather@Home compatible weather stations and sensors. The recommended app is rarely updated and often has connectivity issues which prevent useful operation.The app features include:
Indoor and Outdoor temperatures (in ℃ or ℉)
Indoor and Outdoor humidity
Air pressure ( in hPa, mmHg or inHg)
Estimated Sunrise and Sunset times
Current moon phase
Predicated weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Supports Dark mode
Charts are displayed for the last 7 days of historical data
An export feature is also included to export the current 7 day history to a CSV file which can be emailed from the phone
Currently in active development and considering all feature requests
Permissions:
Bluetooth - The app connects to Oregon Scientific weather stations using Bluetooth.
Location - The app requires location permission to use Bluetooth on Android 10, as well as to calculate sunrise and sunset times.
