Radio Hatteras, your all-volunteer community radio connection, is a non-profit, non-commercial station broadcasting on WHDX-FM 99.9, Waves, NC and WHDZ-FM, Buxton, NC on Hatteras Island. We play an eclectic music mix spanning decades and genres. We also air special music shows (locally produced and hosted) plus island-specific programming, which enhances the safety and quality of life of Hatteras Island residents, visitors, and property owners.
