Description
John Varney describes Rhtym as an element of music, but its actually found everywhere in the world around us. Like the ocean waves or our own heart beats.Rhytm is essentially an event repeating regulary over time. In standard notation, rhythm is indicated on a musical bar line. But there are other ways to visualize rhythm that can be more intuitive. John Varney describes the ‘wheel method’ of tracing rhythm and uses it to take us on a musical journey around the world (Here you can see his TED Video: http://ed.ted.com/lessons/a-different-way-to-visualize-rhythm-john-varney).
With this new application a flow of Rhtym can be traced in a circular view! A complete new and intuitive way to create new Rhytms. Just drag some Beats into the Rhym circular and let the magic happen!
