It can open Guitar Pro and PowerTab files.

With TuxGuitar, you will be able to compose music using the following features:

How to install TuxGuitar APK on Android phone or tablet?

Download TuxGuitar APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

4 ★It's a great app overall but there is some issues i still have. I can't find the capo setting, it has display chord name and diagrams option but I can't attach one, I can't find double thumb technique, whenever i try to open a gpx file, the bass and snare (sometimes hi-hat) sometimes just disappears and i couldn't find a full tutorial on the app which forced me to take a few days to learn the entire app all by myself. Maybe if the interface were more simpler, it would've been easier to learn.

2 ★Its good for playing tabs back. Writing them . Is painfull. Can copy a measure. Nope. Pc version you can not mobile where it might be useful. But the pc one has copy to all tracks ticked as standard rather than only ticking when you want to ruin an hour's work. . And can't be turned off in any setting so you end up copying over your whole song. Amongst other infuriating things . It's like the logic has been beaten out of you and you do things in a retarded way . chord from a list nope. Type it

4 ★A bit clunky to use on mobile, but perfectly suitable for viewing tablature.

1 ★Won't even located any tabs on my download folder" Also won't even locate its own .TG files that were created on PC I imported to phone but yet has no problems locating midi or jpeg and MP3 files but absolutely nothing that says TG or Gp or any tab formats... You simply can use it at all on Samsung S22 atleast

3 ★Opening tg and gp5 files blocked by Android 14. TG still works fine on Android 9 albeit with the sequencer problem. On Android 14 ,TG only has permission to open music files. Android does not consider .tg and .gp5 files to be music files, so they are hidden from TG. There is a newer version available which fixes this.

2 ★How are you supposed to compose with adds glaring at you? What happened to true open source?

5 ★Better than GuitarPro and free! I just wish you could add all midi instruments like the PC version, cause it's only guitar for now

5 ★Best & powerful tab editor for all instruments with features like transposing, Guitar Pro import & export (better than Guitar Pro mobile) & allows lots of viewing options (size, tab and/or stave, orientation etc) to suit most tastes. Only flaws are it shows all bends - unless analyse that note in separate display - as a bend then mute (even when it's a pre-bend, or bend & release etc) & the UI can be cumbersome... although is there a non-cumbersome mobile one? Would pay alot for a Version 2
