4 ★I would rate it higher if not for the extremely high prices on items,the corset comment(a well fitted corset should not "squeeze the life out of" you) and the huge amount of effort needed to get three of the book tickets ,much less 45 of them. However the outfits,character design and backgrounds are all stunning,it is easy to play and unlike many games it is not very reliant on facebook or use a lot of your energy points.
2 ★Inaccessible, unfinished stories, expensive. I loved this game when I started but over the past few months it has become much more difficult to play. In-game text/icons keep getting smaller and I can't always read them. There are some great stories but my favorites still aren't finished. There are more paid-only events/outfits and those aren't presented honestly (ie event makes it sound like you'll be able to do it by completing gameplay tasks, but you actually can't w/out spending money).
3 ★I love the gameplay, community, stories, and mechanics. But I have a few main issues: first, players are ranked in nearly everything, and to obtain event-exclusive clothing, we have to either be hackers, or spend a lot of money to rank up. The game gives us a scary amount of opportunities to buy things, and it sometimes just feels like a money making venture. Lastly, the game size is just way too large to fit my phone. The game requires internet, so why does it need so much storage space???!
2 ★I wanted to like this game. The graphics were beautiful, the storyline was fun and engaging, and the love interests were unique and loveable in their own way. However, this game is unplayable. The amount of grinding you have to do to finish only one episode is ridiculous. The first chapter was easy, but when the second chapter hit, passing anything was impossible even with five-star clothes. I ended up deleting this and I dont recommend unless you have lots of patience, time, and money.
1 ★I'm changing my review. First off, it is absolutely impossible to get ANY full event outfit (Unless it's energy boom) without paying real money or being a very high level. The Dreamtopia update is annoying me because this app takes up so much space that I haven't been able to update it for a few months. The newer books are really expensive with spending materials. They'll make you excited for an event outfit but when you actually get it, it looks weird, unlike the provided picture. Do better.
2 ★A lot of the crafting elements are very hard to obtain, especially if you need to craft for particular outfits for levels. Either provide more materials for crafting, or do away with it entirely and let us buy the pieces. Also your home screen/ bedroom is very cluttered in appearance. Plus the inability to delete the game and start fresh is annoying. I wanted to delete my old game for a reason.
3 ★(10/08/20) I am amazed at how historically accurate this game is and making the learning process super fun! Highly recommend! (08/11/21) Edit: I feel as if the developers are no longer listening to their users. We keep asking you to finish the current stories but you keep giving us new stories that are declining in quality. We want quality, quantity doesnt matter to us.
4 ★So as a dress up game this is only okay. The crafting system relies far to much on random draws for crafting materials that makes it annoyingly hard to get the materials you need. As a FTP interactive novel though its A+. While a majority of your choices are inconsequential some legit change what happens like skip levels on the map change what happens. Plus its really easy to go back and try out the alt options. The stories themselves are intersting as well. Great story meh dress up
5 ★Love it. Very fair pay system for the most part, and so far they're generous with the in game currency without totally giving the store away. The stories are excellent, though sometimes the collection for a particular item takes a looooooong time. Overall though, a really fun blend of dress up that is meaningful to the story, and choices that are meaningful to really interesting stories.
4 ★The game is quite cute. The 3D art style is beautiful and the historical stories are interesting. I actually appreciate them in the style of storytelling used and was very surprised how many characters and places I recognized, guess I did learn something from world history 😂 The energy system was not overly restricting, the encounters to get more resources can easily cost you a lot of energy if you're trying to craft outfits though. My favorite part of the game has to be the kitties ♥️😸
2 ★It keeps me entertained just enough between work, tasks, whatever, without making me feel like I have to keep going. Perfect for the full time job slow social outting lifestyle. *edit* I don't usually spend money on apps, but this is a fun one to drop ad earned play points on. *edit 2* has become practically impossible to complete sets without spending an arm and a leg (which I REFUSE to do), so it's made the game pretty annoying. I still play in hopes they'll fix the overpricing issues.
5 ★Great app and the graphics are wonderful! The only advice I would give to the team would be that when creating outfits in stories you should get points from using clothing items that are actually for that story. If I have really high star clothing items from another story and I use them in a different story I can still get a perfect score. It's an incredible app in the team is so kind and devoted! Merely a recommendation that each player gets to customize their dressing room/main/home screen. 👍
