DEVELOPING NUMBER SENSE
- It is important for young learners to develop their number sense—that is the ability to understand the meaning of numbers, understand the relation between numbers (2 is more than 1 but fewer than 3, 5 is half of 10, 9 is 1 unit before 10, which is the same as the relationship between 4 and 5, etc), and to connect numbers to quantities.
- Playing linear number line games helps your child develop her/his number sense and that’s exactly what they will do in Tiggly Addventure!
- By playing the game, your child will see relations and patterns between numbers on the number line.
- Your child will be challenged to estimate where an award is and how many blocks are needed to add to get to 10 from number 7, for example, or how to avoid certain spots on the number line.

1 ★That game is good but how to unlock the next level.
2 ★This is a very simple app, teaching kids to count. Perhaps overly simplistic - only good for kids that are just beginning to count. The big problem is that on an early level, there is a stage which even I can't get past. There is an X in the middle of a path, and everytime Tiggly lands on it he falls into the water. I can't figure out how to get past this, and so it was a great waste of everyone's time.

1 ★App won't open. Can't play....
2 ★Seems nice enough at first - nice art and animation. But unless you buy the $30 toys to use with it, you can only get at the first chapter - which doesn't have any adding, just counting. 2 stars because my daughter does enjoy replaying the first chapter (and the varying costumes are cool) - but she already knows how to count to 10 so she's not learning anything.
