Juego:
- Gana la partida el que consiga antes el número de puntos establecido
- El juego se desarrolla en manos en las que se reparten todas las cartas. Los jugadores por turnos deben intentar deshacerse de todas sus cartas afirmando que son de un valor o desconfiar de la afirmación del jugador anterior (en este caso si la afirmación era cierta las cartas en la mesa se las queda el jugador que desconfío y si no lo era el jugador que mintió).
Recuento de puntos Mentiroso:
- El jugador que primero se deshace de sus cartas gana la mano lo que le otorga un punto.
- En una partida gana el primer jugador que alcance los puntos establecidos en la personalización (por defecto 3)
Mediante las opciones de personalización el jugador puede modificar ciertas reglas del juego para adaptarlas a su gusto o a la variante que acostumbre jugar. Entre otras:
- Puntos final partida: 1, 3 (por defecto) o 5 puntos
- Eliminar doses jugando a tres jugadores (para que todos los jugadores reciban inicialmente el mismo número de cartas)
- Jugar las cartas de una en una o varias de cada vez
- Eliminar las cartas del mismo valor cuando un jugador las tiene todas
