Ancient Terror is a single player cooperative game, based on the fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and inspired by the classic board game. In Ancient Terror, investigators travel the globe in an urgent quest to save the world from a diabolical, omnipotent Ancient One. With sixteen investigators, numerous monsters, and hundreds of possible encounters, every game provides an unique and epic adventure.

Players cooperatively fight an ancient evil stirring from its slumber and must seal off this awakening horror before it's too late. Players travel around the globe battling monsters, solving mysteries, and equipping up, all to banish the Ancient One threatening to destroy the world.

This strategy horror RPG tabletop game is separated into three sections: the action phase (where each player takes actions for their character), the encounter phase (where players draw encounter cards and experience the world around them) and the mythos phase (where the Ancient One gets an opportunity to act out their nefarious deeds).

4 ★It's fun a bit complicated, but enjoyable.
4 ★Playing the game right now... I'll give it another star once I get some experience with the game and find out if I enjoy it.
3 ★The graphics are stunning and I like the music. The game is quite difficult. Not all the rules are explained in the tutorial. You can't always spend clues to solve the mysteries even if you close a gate. I think this might be a glitch. I'm not sure why the shaman is a blonde girl wearing a First Nations headdress, this might be an error. This is a good game though. A lot of this game depends on chance not skill as you roll dice often. The game is affordable, which is good.
2 ★Good game, great idea. The only problem, and it absolutely ruins the gameplay, is that the player doesn't have the ability to not cancel an action once started. I found myself using a character skill or a card and then being unable to un-confirm the action to go back to the previous action's menu. Extremely frustrating and it ruined the whole experience.
2 ★Was fine, but game always crashes when they introduce ANY Epic monster, like the Wind-Walker or the Tick Tock Men. I thought it was just the Tick Tock Men at first, but this applies to every Epic monster. Makes the game unplayable. When the game does work, though, I love it! But it's near impossible to finish a game with this issue. Fix it, five stars. : )
2 ★Interesting game but the tutorial leaves you in the dark about a lot and I don't feel like the difficulty setting does much if anything I thought the clock thing was the lose condition timer after the tutorial but then I realized it wasn't later and I'm not sure what it is... maybe makes it harder as it progresses? Not sure that that is even necessary with how many other things it throws at you but idk maybe it's just not my type of game
5 ★I love this game. Only thing is... I wish there were more Ancient Ones that we can go up against. Like maybe Nyarlathotep (hope I spelled it right), or Hastur! Edit: Loving it! But I don't know if the disable ads purchase is working or not. Edit 2: I think it would be nice if a hard mode difficulty was added for those of us who have already bested all the Ancients on Easy and Normal.
3 ★The game is interesting, but just too hard. Tried it several times on "easy", but always lost due to bad die rolls or bad events. No game for me... but still, I cannot stop trying...
5 ★Great adaptation. Very competent
4 ★Excellent recreation of the board game, Lthough the animations for every action slow down play somewhat. Not being able to rotate the game is inconvenient and the ads that play after every round are obnoxious.
