他人の家に入ってタンスをあさり、ツボをわり、魔王を倒すためというお題目があれば何をやっても許されることで勇者達がドクズばっかりになってしまった世界クエドラで正義の勇者を目指す少年の話。勇者になるには勇者の試験にうかるか、その勇者達からかけらを集めるか。
正規の勇者の試験は人間の屑しか受からないので、試験を受けるも少年は不合格。
勇者には他人の家にはいって、モノ盗んで、壺をわることや道に歩いてる知性があって
人語もわかる動物を「経験値になるからっ」て襲って「やったーレベルあがったーちっ、５００ゴールドしかもってねぇのかしけてんなっ」って生活をずっと続けても心が病まない人向けの職業だから少年が勇者の試験に受からないのもしかたないことである。
しかし少年は諦めきれず、勇者のかけらをあつめる旅に出たのだった！
