【游戏说明】
国际象棋（英语：chess），又称西洋棋，是一种二人对弈的战略棋盘游戏，也是世界上最流行的游戏之一。世界各地数以百万计的人在家中、俱乐部中、网络上以通信国际象棋或比赛形式对弈。
【游戏规则】
国际象棋的棋盘为正方形，由32个深色和32个浅色方格交替排列组成。每边8个方格。浅色棋格称为“白格”，深色棋格称为“黑格”。
摆放方式：棋手的棋盘右下角必须为白格。白棋后置于白格；黑棋后置于黑格。
国际象棋的棋子也分为两种颜色：浅色棋子称为“白棋”，执白棋的棋手称为“白方”；深色棋子称为“黑棋”，执黑棋的棋手称为“黑方”。对弈双方各有16枚棋子，分别为一王、一后、双象、双马、双车和八兵。开局时即全部放在棋盘上规定的棋格内。
棋局由白方先下，对弈双方轮流移动棋盘上既有的己方棋子，一步棋只能移动一个棋子（唯一的例外是“王车易位”，是在一步棋同时移动王和车）。棋子要不就是移动到未被占据的棋格，要不就是占据对方棋子所在的棋格，并将对方棋子拿出棋盘，称为“吃子”（这也有一个例外是“吃过路兵”，己方的兵是落在对方被吃兵的后一格）。一个棋格内只能有一个棋子，棋子也不可重叠。
对弈双方各有16枚棋子，分别为一王、一后、双象、双马、双车和八兵。每一类棋子的移动规则均不一样。国际象棋的对局目的是把对方的王将死。一方的王受到对方棋子攻击时，称为王被照将，攻击方称为“将军”，此时被攻击方必须立即“应将“。如果无法避开将军，王即被将死，攻击方取胜。除“将死”外，还有“超时判负”与“和棋”。
