3 ★Only few things I can complain about are the unrealistic shot distances that the opponent hits and then they "chip in" from 40 yards out! I'm playing against opponents that are hitting 450 yards+!! And then they chip in for an automatic eagle or better, something has to get better with the aspect of equal play from the user and the opponent. Other than that, not a bad game.
1 ★It only took a week for this game to start screwing me. As soon as I got my clubs upgraded to a fair level commensurate with the level of my competitors, the competitors became unbeatable. I went from winning often to never. The graphics are great, but the gameplay sucks and the controls are very difficult to use, especially with the random wind that only seems to blow when it can push my shots into the forest. I wouldn't recommend this game. It's not fun when you can't win.
4 ★Putting is difficult, as it should be. Too many games make it too easy. Club selection needs improvement. Hitting a putter from the fringe should work but the program makes it go only a few feet. The sand and the rough stops a ball instantly and should be a little more forgiving. Graphics are good and the build up to tournament play makes sure you can play well enough before you enter.
4 ★I enjoy this golf game. It's easy. The challenges are as they should be, challenging. And the controls are easy to use. Plus, a player in this game, is rewarded with better equipment, for their experience, in the game, (i.e. The more the game is played... the easier it becomes to aim, reach greater distances & control the spin, of the ball with the various golf clubs. This game really does imitate real to life experiences, of golfing. I love it!
3 ★It's a fun game but there are some really annoying bugs they haven't worked out related to sound. I always have the game sounds turned off so I can listen to music while I play, but every time I start the app the sounds come back on. When I go to the menu it says sounds are off, so I have to turn one of them up and back down to get it to go away again. This also happens mid game if I connect to or disconnect from Bluetooth. Get this worked out guys. Bush league.
3 ★Not bad but could be so much better. Wins should earn more coins or it should cost less coins to upgrade. I'm at a point in the game where I would have to spend $40-$50 of real money to get enough coins to upgrade clubs; that's WAY too much for this (or any) app based game. Most annoyingly, the video ads are too long and repetitive, specifically the ads for Evony. 30 sec ads make me turn off the game and play something else.
3 ★The really good revews are from big spenders. You don't have to pay to play but you also won't get strong clubs for a while. So you'll bogey on a Par 4 or 5 just trying to reach the green. Like every other golf game, you can make a "perfect" shot with minimal wind and somehow the ball hooks into the rough or a trap for seemingly no reason at all. Interface is ok once you get used to it but it can be overwhelming at first because there's a lot to take in.
3 ★I truly enjoyed this game from the beginning and would of rated it like 4.8 stars at the beginning. Now that I have advanced to higher levels, it is pointless to play. The computer opponent gets an eagle on 9 put of 10 holes on a par 5. On par 4s, the opponent makes unbelievable shots from the rough at 150+ yards straight into the hole for an eagle. Very unrealistic. When this happens, I simply shut off the game because it is pointless. Will be deleting very soon. Just deleted :-)
3 ★The only way to get clubs to a point where control is manageable is to upgrade them, and unless you want to spend years getting small prizes, the only way to upgrade the clubs is to spend real money...a lot of it! Also, tournament prizes don't cover costs to enter them, so you will spend money to keep playing them as well. I don't mind the money I have spent on this game because it is definitely entertaining, but just want to warn others. Payouts for tournaments do really need to be higher.
5 ★Compared to the other golf game apps I've played, I like this one significantly more. A big thing is that if you lose a 1-hole match to an opponent, you don't lose coins! That takes a lot of stress of winning. For me, enjoyment is most important, so I can try new things without fear of risking my chance to continue playing. Watching ads does help get better equipment, but it's not necessary to watch ads to play, which I also appreciate. The large variety of holes to play is also much better.
5 ★Update: they were able to restore my profile! Game is arcadey, so if you're looking for a real golf simulator, this isn't it. Clubs have abilities and don't really function in a linear way. As long as you're good with that, it's a great game. The game was great until I accidentally loaded the game on Facebook and it erased all of my progress. Money, time, and effort gone. Woof.
3 ★I would give it a higher one but there are certain issues that occur on a semi regular basis. The game chugs on updating properly it seems. For instance, joining the clubhouse a friend created, I did and then the next time I joined, I was unable to get in cause it said I wasnt apart of one. Then my friend experienced the header (your level, your rank, etc.) displaying in other pages of the spin wheel. Overall it is a good game besides these issues. Does drain the battery a good
