Description

The battle of Gettysburg was fought over 3 days from July 1st-3rd 1863. It is considered the turning point of the American civil war, showing that the Confederates were not invincible, halting the invasion of the North, and providing the political popularity for Lincoln to be re-elected as president.

This wargame allows you to play either side against the computer, or hotseat against another player. There is a map of the Gettysburg battlefield divided into hexagons, each representing about 500 yards across. The combat units are brigades, with each figure representing 100 men or 10 guns.

Victory is achieved by the capture of flagged areas on the map (the flag indicates ownership) and also inflicting more losses.

The game can be played with fog of war on or off, and options can be set for when the tardy Confederate cavalry commander, General Stuart, shows up (although this will also affect his Union cavalry counterparts).

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like ApkClean.net goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why ApkClean.net can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from ApkClean.net, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Very fun strategy game. I wish it was easier to put regiments in the defensive position. Overall a really good game.
3 ★Love the game but its way to short to pay for. If the game was longer it would be an awesome game.
5 ★Awsome game make more
5 ★Best made game ever
1 ★Does not open on nexus for me want refund please. bull run works fine and is a good game though
4 ★Just played Battle of Gettysburg last night. The Graphics are basic but fine, not sure I like top down views. AI and back ground 'mechanics' all seem to work authentically. Its cool to see the Generals and their units move, and see the log file updating, with losses morale degradation, and unit strength. The map looks good but it is a bit hard to tell hill tops given the crowded terrain. Once or twice I thought I was holding a hill, only to see larger than normal losses due t being charged down hill! ugh. Arty is not very powerful, AI was smart enuff to avoid frontal assaults on it :( REALLY need an UNDO move button/option. I like the movement indicators and how far you can move being shaded in. A couple of times I rolled back a turn to see if the AI would do the same thing twice. Never does. I think I like that from a replay perspective, plus the results of combats where they were the same also varied! I feel like I got some good value at 1.99. And it is now on my radar to watch for new releases. If the designer teamed up with a UI/animation guy that would be very cool.
4 ★Fun to play a quick runthrough. Repetitive with the one battle and no options. Worth buying if you are into these types of games.
5 ★I have looking for a game app similar to the Classic Civil War Generals and this is as close as it gets! Ready for First and Second Manassas next!
4 ★This system, and the Napoleonic, have great potential. Both need more depth though. Would love to see a naval campaign. Vicksburg, even.
4 ★Downloaded game on Razor and freezes on first touch. Please assist. Confederates win on first day by Pender and Heath taking Round Tops and Power Hill. This can be done uncontested by AI. Only need to take Gettysburg. Suggest playing into second day.
1 ★And realized what a half assed effort this is. Seriously- try their free Civil War game and you'll see what I mean. You guys STARTED something exciting with the Napoleonic stuff and then bailed for these equally half assed WWII things-also done much better by Tiller. Combine this system of unit depicting with the Napoleonic era material-especially naval material!- and I'll be back. No point otherwise.
5 ★Love this game downloaded there bull run game as well cant wait for you to put out another battle....Fredricksburg would be Awsome. Maybe even Sharpsburg
