We can now add directly to your application new paints without having to go through the whole update process. Meaning, sometimes when coming back to the game you’ll see new content to play with whereas you haven’t updated the app. This feature will improve our ability to add new levels more often because it will reduce our development time. If you regularly play to Hungry Cat Nonogram, we thought you might want to set the game at your own tastes… now you can change the cat and many other accessories, you can even change the whole game colorset to fit your mood. Your cat will appear in the weekly leaderboards.
Cloud Save and Tuesday Leaderboards
Now you can log in any accounts (Facebook, Google Play or Twitter) or even create a Tuesday Quest one. Once connected, your progress is stored on servers and can be played from any devices. Being logged makes you eligible to the Tuesday Paint Leaderboard too, which is updated every week.
Creating an account is facultative! And yes, you still don’t need an internet connection to play!

5 ★I'm a sucker for this game in all honesty. I come back every week to play the weekly challenge and to see if there's any new frescoes. I just- this never gets me bored.
3 ★I've been playing the free version for a while. At first the ads were reasonable, about 5-10 seconds long and skippable after the first three or so. After the purrfect edition update there are some ads that last at least half a minute, sometimes without an option to skip. Maybe it's my fault for being a free player and having it so easy early on but I'm writing this in case you're also looking to play the game completely free; know that sometimes you'll spend more time watching ads than playing the game.
5 ★I have been playing Hungry Cat Picross for at least six years. Whenever I get a new phone, it's always one of the first apps I install. It's soothing and easy to learn. The perfect phone game.
5 ★I love this picross game. I love the added challenge of having the colors either be consecutive or broken up. The puzzles themselves are cute, and the unlockable boxes, backgrounds and outfits are an added bonus. The only issue is that I've done all of the puzzles, then gone through and done all of them on three stars, and I want more.
5 ★This is the only app I have ever paid for premium access and the ads weren't even annoying, because I could click away after 5 seconds! I just realized that the content would go on forever and I was playing the game so often. This is by FAR the BEST picross app I've tried! It's funny, the hints aren't TOO nice, and it's so aesthetically pleasing. I love my little cat, and I love Hungry Cat Picross! Thank you so much for this incredible app!
1 ★This app used to be the best picross. What happened? Now the color selection doesn't work half the time (have to tap again and again), I get long adds between Tuesday puzzle sections (30 seconds each time!), I now have to close the app and open again to be able to do the next square (for some reason the squares don't open after the first one). Please fix.
4 ★I really enjoyed this Picross game, but it lost one star because the logic isn't always discrete (in pretty rare instances, there can be more than one solution). Personally, that breaks my trust a little, but for the most part it's solid. And one nitpicky thing, sometimes pics are pop culture references with non-intuitive names, which can be frustrating to identify (eg. a pic of Wall-E is just called "last one cleaning"). But I'm only being this picky because I mostly really like this game.
4 ★Very fun game! Love the puzzles. I have only one complaint: this app prevents your screen from turning off. I often play this at night before I fall asleep and have on more than one occasion dozed off without realizing the game is still open! I accumulated 200 minutes on a puzzle section because I fell asleep. Perhaps this could be changed or even added as an option.
5 ★I'd give it more stars if I could! Favorite game ever. For me, it's one of the best mobile games out there. I absolutely adore playing it! It actually gets kinda addictive, even my mom loves it and we play together. I like how this game exercises your logic and makes you think of new strategies to solve the puzzles. I showed it in college and now all of my classmates play it, that's how good it is haha.
4 ★It's a fun enough game that starts off easy and gradually ranks up the difficulty the further in you go. Yet if things are too difficult to pass through, past Tuesday Seasons and Challenges, as well as Frescoes offer content that can be a little easier than the advanced galleries. Chests are obtained once a gallery is completed or once you level up so even though you will not get magic brush every time you open one, if you only use those in dire situations, you shouldn't feel too pressured to buy brushes. You may also watch an ad to obtain a free chest. I do have an issue where I cannot find the button to turn off the sparkling tiles however, which is really distracting and somewhat stressful as I feel rushed to paint that tile to stop the distraction only for it to start elsewhere. Also, do make sure your files are synced with an account to cover potential save loss.
4 ★Great game, great puzzles, easy to play and hard to master. Got even better after the latest revamp - dressing up your cat doesn't really so anything, but hey, fun cosmetics. The only beef I have with this game is that it won't let me quit - pressing back on the home screen does nothing, and I'm forced to force-quit it.
5 ★A refreshingly different, but still easy to get a handle on, take on picross. Interface is easy to navigate, customizations are great and adorable, and recent menu bugs have been fixed so I have no complaints! Ive been a fan of this app for a while and it's yet to disappoint, outside of the occasional (and understandable) update bug, which is usually swiftly fixed.
