If your device is running Android 4.4, Rec. requires your device to be rooted in order to do its magic.
Rec. will work seamlessly, without root, on Android 5.0+ however.

* Why can't I install Rec. on my device?
Your phone/tablet must be running Android 4.4 or above.
* Why do I need root?
If you are on Android 5.0, or above, then you no longer need root and can ignore this question (and the next one)!
However, if you are running Android 4.4, then your device must be rooted in order for Rec. to function correctly/at all.
* How do I root my device?
Unfortunately the process differs for every Android device, and so there is no universal rooting solution - however CF-Auto-Root is a good place to start. Otherwise, please search for a root guide for your particular device using Google.
* Can Rec. record audio?
Yes! Audio is recorded via the mic.
* Why is the recording laggy and slow on my Samsung Galaxy S2/S3/Note/...?
This seems to be an issue with Exynos-based devices not playing nicely with the native screenrecord function, so there's not a lot I can do about it right now (I also don't have access to any Samsung devices). Sorry!
* Does Rec. work with Intel x86 based devices?
It should work fine for devices running Android 5.0+, but probably not for devices running Android 4.4. Unfortunately, I don't have access to any x86 devices to test on, but if you do try it, please let me know how you get on.
* Are there any other known issues?
Enabling the Audio option may cause the recording to fail on the LG G2 (on Android 4.4 only). I will attempt to resolve this as soon as I have access to an LG G2 device to test with.

Top Tips:
1. Disable notifications in your Superuser app to prevent the notifications from appearing in the beginning of your recordings.
2. Switch the Size width/height values to flip the recording orientation.
3. Tap the Size label to get your device's native resolution.

How to install Rec. (Screen Recorder) APK on Android phone or tablet?
Download Rec. (Screen Recorder) APK file from ApkClean, then follow these steps:

4 ★app requires root permission( i have giving) i loved this app because my android is 4.2 / 4.4 (maybe) it worked perfectly but when i changed the resolution to not of my device the video was looking like it is corrupted and have glitches but after changing resolutions as per my device it worked super perfectly ( this is not promotional review ) thanks to devloper(s)
1 ★ITS NOT EVEN A SCREEN RECORDER Iam on a huawei tablet And i was trying to find a screen recorder and when i got tap the reocrding button its said the app stopped and and i was so confused And i tapped the setting for screen recordering and its did not work it just said it stooped and ui was mad🔥💢
1 ★Installed on Samsung S10. When setting up and choosing file name and recording time, i received a video call on whatsapp. Timer stated saying recording starting in a 9 second countdosn. Then dont see timer after 7 seconds. Switched over my wgstsapp call to only find an error message and call didnt record. Very dissatisfied as I needed to record important call.
5 ★This is one of the only screen recorders that give you an unlimited time amount without a watermark. The app is quick and easy to use, includes an off and on timer, and the videos go straight to your files. I use this app a lot and I highly reccomend it.
3 ★Most the features you can get from other recorders without paying a monthly charge. This app will also record using you camera whenever they want because you sign a terms policy to use it. Con: Will nor record sound. Pro: It runs in the background so apps like Snapchat or snow do not count it as screen capturing.

4 ★I really love this app, it's very helpful for posting on my YouTube channel, and I know it's meant for phones and not my Acer 11 Chromebook, which might be why the mic audio is behind. My only true request, besides maybe system audio recording, is that the mic is fixed. Thanks for the great app!
