Description

Leon is a theremin emulator app. The user produces a sine wave by touching anywhere in the "play" area. The x-position controls frequency while the y-position controls amplitude.

Users can set values for the frequency range, release time, tremolo, vibrato and now waveshaping. When used in a tablet (with multi-touch capabilities), a different layout is offered that allows users to change settings (e.g. the vibrato depth) while performing.

Use the menu button to hide or show again the top bar.

Leon should have been an update to my first android app named Leon, but since it was the first app I've uploaded, I've lost a file I shouldn't have lost...

How to install Leon APK on Android phone or tablet?

5 ★This app does just what I was hoping it would do! As a fan of 1950's Sci-Fi 'B' Movies, I love the sound of a Theremin. This app has a great sound, a simple interface, and it does not require any special permissions! Great job, and Thanks!

4 ★This is awesome. Very responsive. Decent options for tone shaping. Would like to see some kind of envelope control and definitely a tuned mode that helps you play scales and stuff. Now I have a theremin! Would also like an option to set controls to default and maybe some presets. I am going to use this for a song!

4 ★I like the logo and the layout of the new version but please add a option the get the old lovely background with that guy playing the Theremin (and the point which isn't visible if it is behind the Theremin )

4 ★This is quite realistic! I would like to see an update that adds extra oscillator waveforms like a square, pulse and sawtooth, and maybe even an LFO with various waveforms including a sample & hold waveform :)

4 ★But the audio cuts out after a while on the Oneplus Two. (Driver issue?) Worked great on Oneplus One and Samsung GS3.

4 ★Great but,could you add a option to input our own recordings? So,lets say, if you wanted to make a choir sing.you take a sound affect of them singing a sylable like "a", then once you download it from somewhere. Then you access it through the app.

5 ★Extremely calming, especially at lower frequencies. Distracts and puts me at ease no matter how poorly I play it. A definite gem. Good work.

5 ★Not too simple, nor too complex, provides realistic sound and easy control. This is by far the best theremin app for android.

4 ★Probably the best theremin emulator I've found. Wish there was a recording option but other than that no complaints.

5 ★Excellent all-around. The only improvement I can think of, having played with it for just a little bit, is a way to reset the settings; but still great, nonetheless.
