Description
Nebbursvollen Friluftsbad ligger ca 15 minutter gange utenfor Lillestrøm Sentrum og er en viktig del av mange Romerikingers barndom. Vi har hørt utallige historier om is, bading og ikke minst alle som har hoppet over gjerdet på nattestid.Nebbursvollen Friluftsbad består av 3 bassenger (50 m basseng, øvingsbasseng med leker og plaskebasseng). Badet er et utpreget «familiebad» med store friarealer, vannsklier, dusj/toalettanlegg, områder for lek og ballspill, grillmuligheter, piknik-område, sandvolleybane, kiosk og lekeplass.
Badeanlegget åpnet portene for første gang sommeren 1967 og ble raskt på folkemunne «Nebben».
50 år senere i 2017 fikk en gjeng med lokale ildsjeler ideen om å etablere en festival på Nebben, og med seg på laget fikk gjengen med seg tidligere festivalsjef i Kraftfestivalen og utelivsguru Jan Martinsen. Den første festivalen gikk av stabelen 3. – 5. august 2017 i øsende regnvær tre hele dager til ende. Men været til tross, publikum trykket festivalen til sitt bryst og uttrykte stor begeistring for nykommeren.
Festivalen fortsetter å leve videre inn i 2018 med håp om mange nye musikkopplevelser og uforglemmelige minner i flotte grønne omgivelser på Nebbursvollen Friluftsbad.
