1 ★This new update is absolutely awful!! Only a fraction of the coins for bonus levels and the upgrades are insanely overpriced for the amount of coins you get. Not to mention some of the levels are unwinable unless you use extras. Will take a VERY long time now to complete levels. Might just end up uninstalling. Such a shame because I loved this game. Had been playing for years! Its not worth all the time it takes now to barely get anywhere
1 ★It's fun enough, at first. Unfortunately, after a certain point, it becomes very apparent that you have to purchase and use Boosters in order to progress in the game. Even if you fully Upgrade all of your Equipment and Ingredients it is still not enough, most of the time, to be able to pass a level. This becomes especially bad in Season 2. Also, just to let anyone know ahead of time, Coins earned in one season do NOT transfer over. All I can say is...PAY TO PLAY AND WIN! So disappointing...
3 ★I found it so hard to believe this game was free because it was SO good. But I'm disappointed that the goals for levels have become strictly coin based. It's made the levels near impossible to play, even with every upgrade purchased. It's also made it very boring, because there are no more heart or dish goals to reach, you're only focusing on coins. Without purchasing diamonds for boosters, it's extremely frustrating to continue playing and I'm sad that I'm already so disinterested.
3 ★I am only giving it 3 stars because of difficult levels. I play almost all the delicious games and this one by far is the hardest. Not only do you need 3 stars in some of the levels to move on, but to upgrade costs so much!!! I like the difficulty, dont get me wrong, but you need to lower the prices. I have time on my hands but not that much to keep playing over and over. I stopped playing and went on a hiatus because it got repetitive, couldnt upgrade, and couldnt finish!
5 ★Absolutely the best cooking game I've ever played and I play a lot of them! I love the storyline and I love the graphics! I love how Em serves the customers instead of staying behind a counter! I also love seeing the characters interact within the storyline! The only thing I would change is lowering the prices on equipment, decorations, and food! But if that can't be changed, I'll just keep playing levels so I can add to my cash!
3 ★Fun game, but the app can be unreliable. Often when you try to double coins by watching an ad, the ad won't load. It seems to happen more when you have used the double your coin power up, and your total is larger than normal. Also I have had problems with the subscription, despite paying for the year I will randomly get ads. Customer service is responsive, but at first you get a trouble shooting auto reply. I think I paid around $100 and I had to jump through hoops to get the problem solved.
2 ★Addictive and fun, until u can't clear a level even when u spend ur own money. And I'm not talking a couple of dollars here and there. To clear an episode, which is one restaurant (amt of levels depends on which restaurant ur playing), you have upgrades that you need to purchase with the coins you win. However, the prices go up so substantially that you have to spend either hours playing previous levels to earn them, or spend your own actual money to purchase various things to succeed.
4 ★Great game, cute story line and characters, fun, challenging, no technical difficulties. I didn't give it 5 stars because the upgrades needed to complete all three stars per level don't continue as the difficulty increases, especially the grill and tray. I like being challenged but I don't want to spend diamonds (real money) to complete a level, nor do I want to play the same one 3 or more times. Maybe it changes with each episode, but I'm getting stuck on level 12 in the second episode. 😥
4 ★Fun game, cute storyline, lots of tournaments. The only thing is that it's SO difficult to get coins for upgrades. If you play a level and fail, you don't get to keep the coins from that failed level and can't upgrade anything unless you replay old levels or do the daily challenges, so it just takes forever to upgrade one thing.
3 ★I have been a long time player (and even a gamehouse app monthly subscriber) but the money cap on the bonus levels is ridiculous. I don't understand the point to it. I've always had to replay the levels in order to get enough money for upgrades, but it was fine because if I just did the later levels it didn't take too long and they were still fun. This new cap is so low and all it does is make me not want to play. Might be canceling my subscription. 😒
3 ★It's a good game that runs well, but like everyone else is saying, it's impossible to pass after a certain point. You get stuck on a level that needs an upgrade you can't afford, and replaying past bonus levels practically gives you pennies, so you NEED to use boosters. Don't listen to the 😎 response they're copy-pasting - it's not a skill issue. There's a difference between difficulty and poor design. They just want you to watch more ads and buy more powers.
5 ★I love this game! I've played a lot of time management games in my day and this one definitely ranks near the top. The graphics are beautiful and dynamic, the controls are intuitive, and the story line reads like a book I can't put down. Only thing I would change is maybe add sort of an "exchange rate" for coins between the seasons, like maybe for every 100 coins you trade in from the previous season, you get 1 coin in the current season. Just for a tiny bit of help.
