Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts have peculiar jobs: They give people another chance to live, all the way from the very beginning... but only in their patients' heads.
Due to the severity of the operation, the new life becomes the last thing the patients remember before drawing their last breath. Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives, but didn’t.
This particular story follows their attempt to fulfill the dream of an elderly man, Johnny. With each step back in time, a new fragment of Johnny's past is revealed. As the two doctors piece together the puzzled events that spanned a life time, they seek to find out just why the frail old man chose his dying wish to be what it is.
And Johnny's last wish is, of course... to go to the moon.

"To the Moon", a story-driven RPG with pixel graphics, was originally developed six years ago for PC by Canadian producer Kan Gao and Freebird Games, his indie game studio.Rights to develop and publish the remastered mobile version of "To the Moon" were acquired by X.D. Network Inc.
The story of "To the Moon" unfolds before players, much like a movie. While the entire game has no battle system and can be completed in a few hours, the compelling story and moving original soundtrack resonated with players worldwide. On top of receiving overwhelmingly positive ratings, "To the Moon" received multiple awards from Gamespot, Metacritic, WIRED, and more, and was nominated for "I'm Not Crying, There's Something In My Eye" in the 2016 Steam Awards.

5 ★The only thing I truly dislike about this game is that Android users are currently being deprived of the sequel. It's 8 bit. You'll forget all about the resolution. The gameplay is uncomplicated. You won't care. It's a deep story, the music is nice and cleverly worked in, and you will want to play it again to see what you may have missed the first time. Totally worth getting. The game says wear headphones, but it's okay without, just play it.
5 ★Wow. This has to be one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. It has been sat in my wishlist for a while, I am always a little apprehensive about paying for mobile games. Having seen some of the great reviews I finally decided to purchase it and I am so glad I did. I was emotionally invested from the get go. The music is absolutely beautiful and the story is wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed and will highly recommend. Thankyou for making the piece of art. ❤️
5 ★Neil is probably my soulmate. Speaking of soul this game totally broke mine. Ever since i played 7yrs from now ive been looking for other games like it and i was definitely not disappointed. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. With most games like this i can usually figure out the story after playing for a minute but i had no idea where the game was going. I have mad respect for River
5 ★Immediately crashes as soon as it launches. Using a Razer Phone 2. Won't know how the game is until I'm able to play it. EDIT: The developers offered me a refund, but before I reached out they had fixed the game (at least on the platform I play). I haven't had a chance to play it much yet, but their openness and frequent updates are admirable.
5 ★I never bother to write reviews in the app store, but I have to make an exception. This is a masterpiece of a game, storywise. Albeit short ( around the 4 hours mark) and more a visual novel with 16 bit graphics it's a must play for people who like well rounded stories. It's carefully written, planned and executed and after the end credits roll you'll still be thinking and wondering about it all and about life in general.
4 ★Android 10 fix needed, but otherwise it's Perfect. Seriously, I played this first on PC a couple years ago and I remember finishing it in tears. The writing is stellar, the 8-bit graphics are perfectly suited to the story, and the music composed for this game is so amazing, I bought the soundtrack on Steam back in the day. Update - Sept 27th 2019: Game now launches, then initial dev logos appear, game appears to start then stall on endless loading. It's still a 10/10 game, just some bugs left.
5 ★Absolutely not the best game, terrible control and graphics, the "game" element is so minimal but definitely love the story line. Take it as a movie experience and the plot was just so sweet. The music played a huge part too and I think the development team composed the music themselves too? This is so not a game but I am happy that I paid to have watched this mini movie. Could totally imagine it being made into a legitimate movie.
5 ★A beautifull tribute to love mental illness and loss. This game has very little action, a bit of puzzles and only one gameplay affecting choice. However, this game truly shines at its story telling. It will evoke true heartfelt emotions better than any other book or movie ever will, and the ending will make you weep tears of sorrow directly followed by tears of joy. If you're thinking whether to buy this game or not, your thinking isn't worth the effort. Just buy it. Period.
5 ★A delightful and humorous experience with quite a few unexpected twists and an end that'll leave more than a good amount of y'all in tears (don't feel bad, I did too). If you're on the fence about getting this for any reason, the soundtrack's worth the price of admission alone, guaranteed you're gonna find yourself humming one or two tracks throughout your day
5 ★In the end, I still can't get into the game. Well, it sucks, but I appreciate the effort for the update, Devs ! Now I'm just leaving it a 5* just because I really enjoyed the game in the PC release. It's irrational yes, but that's just how good this game is to me personally. EDIT: recent update didn't work out for me. 😖
5 ★Storywise- it's perfect and made me preety emotional at the end. Tbh one of the best story out there. Graphicswise- I always love pixelated graphics and i was playing it purely for story so it doesn't matter much. Although I have to say some of the areas which have nothing to do with gameplay were also well designed(example act 5) Gameplay- the only place where its lacking and i expected more of it Support Indie Devs by paying and i hope they release "finding paradise" and "a bird song" here too
4 ★Keeps crashing at startup on my Essential PH-1 updated to Android 10. Developer released a new update, but it still crashes on my phone. Seems to be trying to request permission to save game data before immediately crashing. Manually adjusted permissions to grant access to storage but game still crashes. *Update* - The developer was very responsive and just released an update that fixed the crashing issue. The game seems great so far.
