iShala is an Indian music mobile app that provides flawless accompaniment for classical music practice, be it vocal, instrumental or rhythmic. It features:• tanpura (x6)
• tabla
• swarmandal
• harmonium
• manjeera (x3)
all fully customisable in practice sessions that can then be loaded on demand. It effectively replaces a tabla machine, a lehra player and an electronic tanpura. It is therefore an ideal tool for anyone practicing Indian classical music, or just wishing to jam along virtual Indian musicians on any other musical style.
iShala includes over 60 rhythmic cycles, melodies in more than 110 ragas and 7 different tempos. You can also create your own ragas and fine-tune each of their notes at micro-tones (or shrutis) level. Possible combinations are thus nothing short of endless!
Along with accompaniment, iShala now also corrects your pitch*! Sing/play freely or over a harmonium melody and iShala will highlight any discrepancy from the correct note. This is an incredible tool to improve your pitch accuracy.

4 ★Good App. Stops every now and then. Tabla sound clarity is not up to expectations. Surmandal and Tanpura are good.
2 ★I am using it on my s8+ mobile. There is some background noise constantly disturbing. In a paid app like this, which is very very disappointing.
1 ★My first impression is very bad, tanpura and tabla sounds very cheap and not at all clear. I just downloaded paid versions for taal which i dont have on my machine. Is there any option to balance tabla and tanpura volum levels, i noticed both are on same level, i tied one harizontal bar at tanpura but its seems not working. Not at all near to itabala pro.
5 ★Best app. It helps very much in practicing . Sound quality is well in external speaker . I request that bell should rings as manjira plays in bhajan. Hoping this will be added in new upgradation very soon. Apps stops regularly after some time. please give solutions for it Thanks Problem seems to be solved.
3 ★This app was v good till I purchased Samsung M31 and installed this app. It shows several times hinderance in its sound.Sometimes it shows odd noises also from it.
4 ★Can Swarmandal get improved, to repeat same note? It will be helpful, to play certain combination of notes.. Some notes are also not audiable, need to be fixed.. Note SA1 of octave has no sound, so it need to be fixed.. It should be more useful if Swarmandal can play some tremalo notes, to repeat same notes.
5 ★Very nice and useful app. Only one concern, app stops playing after 10-15 minutes and needs to start again. Needs a fix, otherwise this is a real problem while performing infront of some audience.
5 ★Using ishala since last two years and is absolutely a very good app. last update was quite a good. swarmandal is also good thing. just need to add ending tihai in taal section, add some base in tabla like one or more app are with good tabala bass. need to improve taanpura sound { it is good now but can be improved.}

2 ★Because I can't reply further to the chain of comments I guess, I want to tell you that on your 23rd Feb you said you were finishing a big update. Been 2 months. The app still freezes and doesn't play in background. I have patiently waited for the promised update too. Is it coming? If yes, when? For the good quality this app has, and money this app charges, one year of no update is kinda unprofessional.

5 ★A great help for Android users. Considerable improvements are evident. I had suggested something a few years back and they made the changes. Not necessarily on my note but they made it happen. I'm eternally grateful for that.
