Story
The War of Magi left little but ashes and misery in its wake. Even magic itself had vanished from the world. Now, a thousand years later, humankind has remade the world through the power of iron, gunpowder, steam engines, and other machines and technologies.
But there is one who possesses the lost power of magic--a young girl name Terra whom the evil Empire has kept enslaved in an effort to harness her power as weapon. This leads to a fateful meeting between Terra and a young man named Locke. Their harrowing escape from the Empire's clutches sets in motion a series of events that touches countless lives and leads to one inevitable conclusion.

3 ★Good game but the reason why im giving it only 3stars is mostly because of the graphics: Characters sprites to be precise. They are really bad compared to the super nintendo version and im amazed that the devs thought that they looked better compared to the original graphics. The rest of the graphics is fine but the character sprites just dont fit with the rest of the game.
3 ★The original is one of my favorite games of all time. This version maintains *much* of what made it that way. The controls are admittedly not great, but the main reason for the low rating is that this game cannot be completed, at least on my device (1st Gen Pixel) In Imperial Camp, crashes immediately upon entering a tent. In Magitek Factory, crashes during cutscene. Others have reported the same issues on different hardware. App support at squenix has not been able to help, so...I'm left with an un-completable version of one of my favorite games. Neat.
2 ★Nes.. controls please 15 dollars to ruin it wth. Side pick control not even sure about the characters lot ppl sure won't like that have played as kids 😜 kinda want a refund ugh was so exited..
1 ★Like most all of these 1 star reviews my game crashes over and over at the imperial camp. I have run through the sequence 50 or more times. it doesn't always crash in the same spot. By using quick saves and persistence I finally got to Kefka in the camp but it consistently crashed at that fight. unplayable and frustrating. I started over and did a different sequence when the party splits. same issues. I'm sorely disappointed. I've been an avid FF fan and played nearly every title.
1 ★Broken, as stated. Cannot believe one of the greatest games of all time is an unplayable mess. Please, Square Enix, fix this. The Doma Siege crash has been known for YEARS; way overdue for a fix. BlackBerry KeyONE Android 8.1.0. UPDATE: Contacted SqEnix, after 2 weeks of e-mail runaround, was issued refund. Still rather be able to play the game. Anyone know a good emulator?
1 ★app is broken and has multiple gamebreaking glitches where your save file will always crash at a given event and there is no workaround. it may be early in the game, it may be upon entering the final dungeon like ive read in other reviews, it may be in Daryl's tomb, like with my own. regardless, you will spend days or weeks on a playthrough, only to have it crash and become lost forever. 0/10 terrible port. also: awkward controls. i love this game. what an enormous disappointment.
1 ★Game consistently crashes at the imperial camp. It has worked on other phones. My phone is a xperia model f5121. So think before you get this game. Oh also Cyan's reworked mechanic is bugged to hell, amongst other things. Same with the music, only version that has the proper music transitions is on the SNES. So if you want to play this great game, get the SNES.
1 ★The game will crash everytime at the imperial camp after Cyan defeats the Commander. This is regardless of whether you go into either tent or walk across the bridge. I have uninstalled the game twice and reinstalled it. I am playing it on a Galaxy S7. How much did you pay to bribe Google to make this an editor's choice? I expected an editor's choice to at least work, and not crash at the exact same spot within an hour of game play. This shows that no editor actually played the game.
1 ★Game is still broken in 2019. There are sections of the game that crash when encountered making progression impossible. Experiencing the same parts as everyone else. I skipped the tents in the Imperial camp, only to have it start crashing again in the Magitek facility when in the minecart. Game is great otherwise, and a bug fix would resolve this issue.
1 ★Final Fantasy VI ran perfect for me up until The Imperial camp/Doma section of the game. Entering a tent or trying to progress will cause the game to suddenly crash, leaving it unplayable. I've seen people saying they managed to skip this glitch only to have it happen again later in the story without a way to pass the bug. Will update review after my support e-mail gets a response.
1 ★Unbeatable game breaking bugs, so I accepted my phone crashing at the campsite when entering tents as you are introduced to general leo. I decided fine no tents, got it. Now I actually can't finish the game, game crashes to phone when escaping the magitek facility every time. Square is getting away with highway robbery for these prices with 0 effort.
2 ★this port of the beloved ff6 is a good revision while staying true to the graphic style and full rich structure and story that made ff6 one of the epic RPGs of all time. that said there is still some crashing issues. the one i am experiencing right now is during Sabins scenario when you enter the military camp where your introduced to Cyan. when i enter any of the tents the game crashes and shuts down. i was hoping after all this time they had the bugs out but i guess not.
