High quality media player supporting USB audio DACs and HiRes audio chips found in the latest phones. Play up to any resolution and sample rate that the DAC supports! All popular and less popular formats are supported, including wav, flac, mp3, m4a, MQA and DSD.

This app is a must-have for every audiophile, bypassing all audio limits of Android. Whether you use our custom USB audio driver for USB DACs, our HiRes driver for internal audio chips or the standard Android driver, this app is one of the highest quality media players around.

Version 5 now includes a MQA Core Decoder (in-app purchase required). MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) is an award-winning British technology that delivers the sound of the original master recording. The master MQA file is fully authenticated and is small enough to stream or download, while also being backward compatible. The Tidal streaming service supported by USB Audio Player PRO features many tracks in MQA and offers a great opportunity to experience MQA.

The MQA decoder will unfold the MQA stream from 44.1/48kHz to 88.2/96 kHz and can also be combined with certain USB DACs that feature an MQA renderer (e.g. AudioQuest DragonFly / iFi / Ztella DACs) for further unfolding to even higher sample rates.
Please visit for more information about MQA and to read more about MQA inside the app.

Note that the official Tidal app resamples audio back to 44.1/48kHz on many Android devices or upsamples to 96/192kHz when using a USB DAC and cannot deliver a bit-perfect signal for MQA rendering!

• Plays wav/flac/ogg/mp3/MQA/DSD/SACD/aiff/aac/m4a/ape/cue/etc. files (even 24-bit and 32-bit).
• Supports a USB audio DAC connected by an OTG cable (if your Android device supports USB host mode)
• Plays natively up to 32-bit/384kHz or any other rate/resolution your USB DAC supports by completely bypassing the Android audio system. Other Android players are limited to 16-bit/48kHz, even on Android 5 and higher.
• Utilizes HiRes audio chips found on some high-end phones (LG V series, Samsung S series, OnePlus, Fiio X5/X7, Pioneer XDP, Nokia, etc.) to play HiRes audio at 24-bit without resampling! Bypasses the Android resampling limits!
• Free MQA decoding on the LG V30/V35/V40/V50/G7/G8
• DoP, native DSD and DSD-to-PCM conversion
• Toneboosters MorphIt Mobile: improve the quality of your headphones and simulate over 160 headphone brands and models (in-app purchase required)
• Folder playback
• UPnP media renderer and content server
• Network playback (Samba)
• WebDAV
• Stream audio from Tidal (including Tidal Masters), Qobuz and Shoutcast
• Gapless playback
• Bit perfect playback
• Replay gain
• Sample rate conversion (if your DAC doesn't support the audio file's sample rate, it will be converted to a higher sample rate if available or the highest if not available)
• 10-band equalizer
• No root required!
• Software and hardware volume control (when applicable)
• Upsampling (optional)
• scrobbling
• Android Auto

In-app purchases:
* Advanced parametric EQ from effect vendor ToneBoosters (around €1.99)
* MorphIt headphones simulator (around €3.29)
* MQA Core decoder (around €3.49)

Warning: this is not a generic driver, you can only playback from within this app. It is not possible to use your USB audio device using this software with other apps!

Questions & Answers

Q: What is an APK File?

A: Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same. An APK file is the file format used for installing software on the Android operating system.

Q: If I install an APK from this website, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.

Q: Why can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: What are Android App permissions?

A: Apps require access to certain systems within your device. When you install an application, you are notified of all of the permissions required to run that application.

4 ★Great app, uninspiring name, horrible icon. Besides the slow response times when scrolling or skipping tracks in Tidal, this is a GREAT APP for audio quality and external DACs. It is, however, unfortunate that both its name and icon are horribly unattractive and sound and look like those "cheap" tool apps.
5 ★I have a BETTER quality (and more important STABILITY) with USB Audio Player Pro using my Android mobile, than I have with the native Qobuz app on Windows. OK this might be a ****** issue with my USB port or Windows driver, but USB Audio Player Pro is HIGHLY configurable, reliable and stable for Hi-Res playback over all my DACs (e.g. mobile DAC AudioQuest Dragonfly Red, desk DAC/Amp Topping DX7Pro, DAC from my Rotel Amp, nothing resist).
5 ★WOW! GOOD!! APP!!! \(*^0^*)/ If it is possible, please support FTP Server streaming add to conventional of SMB Server streaming.
5 ★Good but if you're digging deep into the app but you want to go to your in-app settings you have to press the back button as many times that you've clicked on a tab plus the amount of searches you've entered. Im always pressing back at least 5 times when i want to go to settings. Idk if its just me, but this is how i navigate through the app. Lots of crashes as well. As for quality sound and for audiophile enjoyment its the best I've ever used out of many apps
3 ★The UI on this app isn't that good, it is slow and very buggy. For example find times when I am listening to an album where it will replay the song I was listening to instead of playing the next song (I don't think I had any weird settings on). Despite all of those UI issues, the audio playback is amazing. I am using the built in dac on the LG V60 with the MQA extension, and the sound is phenomenal. However, considering how expensive the app is, I won't fully recommend until the UI is improved.
5 ★Excellent player works awesome. I actually read an article about my new phone DAC, which happens to be an LG V60. Thanks works great the sound is so much better. But please one improvement needed is to add youtube music login in an update please. I am sold only using this music player now! This is a must have for all audiophiles! Great product. Thanks! Found more bugs in usb player and now solved. Thanks for the best media player. Look no further! A must have works terrific!!
1 ★I paid money for this to property output MQA from Tidal. It plays MQA and anything above AAC quality at 0.1x speed slow motion. Of course, when I disable the DAC recognition in "USB Audio Tweaks", it'll play normally, but at normal resolution, defeating the reason why I bought this in the first place. Spent 3 hours messing with options and combing meticulously through their website and message board to the point of confabulation. Waste of time and money.
5 ★Great app, superior sound quality. Google needs to fix the kernel bug that is causing Pixel phones to reboot ASAP. My love for UAPP made me spend over $1000 on DACs and headphones to get the best experience from Tidal and UAPP.
4 ★Great for USB DAC users but the UI is meh, would love to have lyrics support like fiio music
5 ★I'm not sure if everyone is understanding what this app has really been designed for; it's main purpose being to bypass your device's internal sound card in order to benefit the use of any external DAC and I'm not sure if there are any other apps that can do this. I use an Audioquest Dragonfly Red DAC which I use on my Xperia 10ii. I'm using a set of high end Shure ear buds and it truly is a phenomenal listening experience.
5 ★Hi. I've purchased USB Audio Player Pro, yet I'm unsure whether the Hi-Res drive is outputting to the dedicated (ESS) or the Qualcom DAC. The amp is not that loud when I start playing audio in the background using UAPP. However, the amp "kicks in" when I scroll over an autoplaying (muted) video in reddit, making the volume output closer to what I expect from the ESS amp.
3 ★Hi. I have the Pro version + MQA. I have too the Pro version of PowerAmp and Neutron. I prefer UAPP but I don't give 5 stars because I would like to see: - Folders in Library - Album by name and Album by artist in Library (I know we can use sort by name or by artist but it will be nice to have both at the same time 🙂) - Better alphabetical sorting (as an example Ólafur Arnalds it is placed at the end of my Albuns sorted by artist! Just because the name of the artist starts by "Ó".
